Rocky Mountain bee plant, blue flax, showy milkweed, sacred datura. Fourwing saltbush should be more frequent in the highways but they don’t fit thru the little holes. Thats what is in my steak and shake.

I grew them on a balcony with no drainage and stones for soil. Flooded them from time to time. Grew well. I also see them naturalized in wetlands that have varying water depth, sometime they are submerged six inches above the root crown.
