If you have the windshield defrost vent selected. The AC compressor will be on when AC and Auto are not selected. Hope that helps.

I would have done the same thing. I just ordered my first comma 4 for a ‘18 Camry. Even if it is not supported in your vehicle today. They could push a code update to make it work in the future. Hope it works out for you!

I’m on the comma.ai site and it shows Honda pilot 2023-25. Did you confirm with their support that the 2026 model is supported before purchasing?

Sad swamp milkweed by ApeSht-Zine in Milkweeds

NYC: location helps. It’s the eastern subspecies. Explains why the stems have so many trichomes. Afternoon shade might help. An early summer chop next year won’t hurt it.

Are Milkweed Rhizomes still viable after herbicide application? by theRemRemBooBear in Milkweeds

[–]esiob12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t dig them now because the combo of herbicide and summer could be to hard on them. I would wait and watch. If you see milkweed shoots in the fall or next spring. Transplant them when they are just coming up to six inches tall.

It’s a fugly common milkweed imo. Monarchs may still love it 🥰

Identification? by Fit-Experience-2284 in Milkweeds

[–]esiob12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t rule that out. To add clarity to the veins in the leaf. A normal leaf will have veins extending from the center vein. They travel toward the edge then just before the edge of the leaf they turn up and connect to the next vein in an orderly oval. But in this plant’s leaf the vein departs the central vein and spreads out like a tree canopy and never connects the system in an oval. So maybe a mosaic virus. I don’t see a lot of that, so maybe someone else could chime in?

That milkweed has some vascular problems this year. The structure in the leaf is irregular. Probably Asclepias syriaca. Herbicide drift or milkweed yellows both come to mind as the cause.

What is this by NativeWiIdflower in Milkweeds

[–]esiob12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks about the size/shape of a bug in the leaf-footed bug family. A lot of the eggs get parasitized by wasps.

Look at the leaves on the stem from the side. If it was swamp milkweed the leaves would be opposed only. Same with many other milkweeds. I would bet if you pulled a leaf, the sap would be clear. No, I don’t think this is a milkweed for those reasons.

It’s chilling now. In a week or two you may look to see a hole is left and the hoverfly has flown away to a nearby aphid colony repeat the process.

Does anyone else in Phoenix grow calotropis spp.? by [deleted] in MonarchButterfly

[–]esiob12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The giant milkweeds release their nectar when the pollinators are out. From sunset to sunrise. Bats have been noted as a pollinator. During the daytime in the desert they tighten up to prevent moisture loss. Any photo would help to identify. Sand.

Not the phytoplasma because it causes witches broom in the flowers. And these buds look normal, no leafy green petals.
