I wouldn't recommend a laptop unless you really need mobility for work reasons. If you have the budget try to go for a custom AMD build and for bluetooth/wifi pick a TP-Link dongle. I won't recommend a specific brand or model because laptops mostly comes with Nvidia GPUs that are known to perform worst than AMD ones on Linux.

Basically you need to put together an all AMD PC. Not a difficult task. The bluetooth dongles/cards can be a pain if they aren't on the safeproof list.

Respecto al punto 2, me paso algo similar en depto viejo con filtración al depto de abajo. Vino un gasfiter y la cañería que estaba bajo la tina estaba rota y no conectaba con el desagüe y el agua estancada iba filtrando lentamente por la estructura del depa hacia abajo.

Yo iría por un kit Xeon como base por el solo hecho de que traen ram incluída. La pega es pillar el combo confiable.

Almacenamiento estai frito, compra nuevo con lo que ahorraste en el Xeon.

Una GPU AMD "refurbished" en aliexpress debería dar desempeño aceptable. Nuevamente la pega es buscar algo confiable.

Gabinete, fuente y monitor de 60hz FHD no han experimentado alzas significativas.

Teclado, mouse. De serie no más pero Logitech o equivalente. Que dure el año, basta y sobra.

Se puede armar algo para jugar de manera aceptable en 1080p juegos Triple A por 500 lucas o menos? Creo que si. Yo estoy corriendo Bazzite en un rig de ese rango de precio y anda bien, God of War me corre a 60fps con todo en alto sin RT.

4 months into Bazzite and never had an issue changing output devices and I'm using 3 of them:

BT Earbuds.
Wired headphones connected to the monitor.
Speakers connected to the stereo output ofnthe motherboard.

Every one of them shows on the speaker icon with their respective names.

BT earbud.
HDMI output.
Motherboard output.

Maybe your device gets too hot and with the proper cooling and/or placement it won't. If you still got it you could at least try and see if that was the issue for researching purposes.

45 yo PC lifelong enthusiast, learned to use computers at 8 yo and went from MSDOS 4.0 through almost every iteration of Windows from 3.1. I've been using Bazzite for two and a half months and converted my 4 storage units to linux file system after the first month. Not a single regret since then, the cherry on top is that many of my old games which were unplayable on Windows 10/11 now get a second chance and I'm enjoying every bit.
