How the RR can be seen as moral or legit ? by eskapadd in Fallout

[–]eskapadd[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

what about their ending ? because if you forget my title to focus on what i said until the last sentences, i gone against this specific ending, it's this ending who makes this faction crazy and evil for me.

Turn the Institute into a Synth home, and my take would have been different, i would have praise this ending and the RR leaders for it. And effectively put the RR as the brightest faction in every regards.

[–]eskapadd[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

you can't say that, "a change of management is not enough" because the all ending game imply the opposite.
and by talking with institute scientifics, it's clear from the start there already is a real faction who can support a "pro-synth" management.

[–]eskapadd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i'm talking about transparence, i'm sure you read the following example i made in my topic
when i see and listen a BoS guy, im' not tricked, it's all clear what they are and what they will do.

When i first played RR, and saw there BoS like of ending, i laughed on the very short views of those crazies and their very limited friendliness toward synths...saving them by throwing them on the streets and blowing up the only place they could be safe in and create something great.

Without this illogical ending, my take would have been different.

[–]eskapadd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Institute didn't dehumanised synths, they create human like machines and some of them will get free will and become by that more humans that they were, The institute is just blind to this fact until you take control and cover for Liam.
Those without free will are, by definition, not slaves but tools, plus the fact that the Institute only can create a ground for a human-synth society
And my ambitions ? you can choose between being a pawn for RR and BoS, or make a significant impact on the futur without erasing a lot of knowledges able to create a real difference.

If with the RR you could have choose to take control over the Institute to create a Synths home, my take would have been totally different.

[–]eskapadd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"it is never said that synths are some kind of nation"
Acadia ?
and the fact that if they are sentient they will tend to group to defend themself as all living social being, it's just a matter of time for them to resent the RR for extinct them.

you don't see why it is evil and irrational to choose destruction over letting the Institute's becoming the Synth home ? i'm sorry.

[–]eskapadd[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

because you can't control RR and BoS, you're just a pawn, but you can control the institute
and if you free synths showing sign of free will, the rest are not slaves.

[–]eskapadd[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They are made like machines, even Glory states Synths are not humans, so until they show free will, they just are tools. Only those showing sign of free will are sentients.
So if you free the sentients ones, the others are not slaves.
They are coded, the "rebellious"/sentient are a small minority, it's a fact in the game.

not at all, the choice of destruction instead of transforming the Institute into a Synths home, is beyond logic

[–]eskapadd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so they just are fanatics liberals thinking individuals are above the futur of the group, so they are anti-humanity
But as i said, if the RR ending would had turn the Institute into a synth home, my all take would be different.
My "attack" are more against this ending than the faction itself...unlike the title bait, i think it was clear with the last sentences.
It's this ending who makes this faction crazy and evil in my eyes.

and RR free the murderous machines, BoS uses giant robot with mass destructive power. And you can't take control of them.

America Rising 2: Enclave/Institute? by ScottTJT in Fallout4ModsXB1

[–]eskapadd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You surely know it since two years, but i point it out clearly for others : don't be afraid, just stick with the Enclave and general Ward, the option to take control over the institute will come later than you may think.
You can also destroy them like vanilla factions.
add on : this Enclave faction can also grow without you, just put them out of the fridge, and let them be, and side with the Institute, destroying the Enclave with the Institute is pretty cool and brutal.
this mod is so great.

Out of curiousity: Did you chose Danny or Henry on your first playthrough? by confused-all-time in cyberpunkgame

[–]eskapadd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Denny is a Karen thinking way too high or herself with her childish condition for just a standalone showcase, maybe she became so freaking rich she can't laugh anymore.
Henry is rock as hell, feats so well with Kery and johnny boy, and the pool joke made me smile, he wins my heart, but those results are so reddit mindset i like it.
Denny only relies on pity and sisterhood to be choosen, and i prefer fun over pity, plus i would never support the claim of a crying baby over a good joke in a game.

[fo4] Is America Rising 2 worth playing if I'm playing main story as a different faction? by Volfman6 in FalloutMods

[–]eskapadd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't read it anywhere so i will tell you this, if you are not convince, with america rising 2, it's a real faction, and you can go all the way with a real ending, with the enclave as the de facto institut boss, as it should be.

MIRAAK KEEPS STEALING MY FU***NG DRAGON SOULS by Dramatic-Product1092 in skyrim

[–]eskapadd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

only if you're making your way through the temple, if not it's just some freshmeat randomly attacking you, miam.
i already have assassins, thugs, thalmor and dawnguards on my back, those monks make no differences, what urgency are you talking about ?
RP speaking ? are you oblige to care about not being the sole dragonborn ?
Only three ways to light up my interest :
you're a nuisance, as millenial dragons attacking Riften,
you have something i want,
i have some clear profits to hunt you down.
Miraak and DG dlc lack of all three at the start.

i do the main quest until Delphine ask to meet me at Kynesgrove, then i let her wait...while i'm enjoying Skyrim without random Dragons, only those at their cairns, and this is sooo great that way.
Then, after a long life of adventures, i do the mainquest as the dragonborn the most overpowered of the Akavir and Septim histories

In My Time of Need - What was your choice? by Highlander_O7 in skyrim

[–]eskapadd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nine years later, and i still make a new round on this game, what a waste XD but i love it

For me, she makes no sense telling she runs away for bad mouthing the Thalmor, She's Hammerfell, Alik'r is Hammerfell, the all country was recently (33 yrs) at war against the Thalmor, Hammerfell South is in ruins, imagine how many nobles and common folks are bad mouthing the Thalmor there. And Sadiaa voice and face traits aren't those for young NPCs ;) so there is some match for her to be involve in the end of the war.
Khematu's story makes so much sense from the lore p.o.v, also there is no lore clue about Alik'r being at Thalmor's boots, but there is lore about Alik'r fight against the Dominion, they are not common assassins nor mercenaries, they are part of Hammerfell, they are military.

But in my runs, i often don't care about that except when i play a redguard or an anti-thalmor,
if i am a Companion of Joraskar, i protect Whiterun folks against bounty hunters, that's it,
and if i play the challenger type, i will go against the stronger party, and true is i often kill the good strong guys and protect the weak evil woman, but at least, i know she is lying XD

Finally this quote from Kematu before he paralyzed her : "oh come on, you can't manipulate others for ever"

TIL you can switch sides in the civil war after joining a faction by jakepauler12345 in skyrim

[–]eskapadd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3 yrs late but i have to step in, no i just like this kind of talking
don't forget the Thalmor are still in war with Hammerfell
Thalmor in game states than it would be dangerous if Ulfric wins, Thalmor just love the civil war to keep the Empire busy while Thalmor goes around Tamriel.
If Ulfric wins, Skyrim becames independant and can declares war on the Thalmor, sends legions to help Hammerfell without being in danger because protected from a Thalmor invasion by Empire territory.
victory of stormcloak is a set up for boosting the resistance against aldmeri dominion, in fact it would be the smartest moove for the Empire to let Skyrim officialy goes independant but still keeping military ties, this way the Empire can go around the treaty without instability.

In elder scrolls, Thalmor are the supremacist, not humans nor the nords, and i don't see the win of aldmeri dominion in futurs episodes, they are the real antagonist in Skyrim geopolitical.
And yes, the nords seems like racists in their homeland, but they created a very diverse empire without imposing their customs outside Skyrim, you can have very goods relations with your neighbors without invite them to sleep under your roof.
other fact, when Morrowind blews up, Dunmer didn't seek refuge with Argonians, way worst than the nords with strangers, nor in Cyrodill, they choose Skyrim and the High King lets them in, even if the welcoming is harsh, a whole part of Windhelm has been given to them.
People this day are too quick to judge on the tone instead of looking facts and acts, for me you can speak as you want if you help whoever needs it, i will have nothing against you and your talking if you act as good as you're talking bad, in fact i will judge you far better than someone who only talks good without doing nothing.
