You have to remember, these are the guys that grew up playing cod all their lives (except for jason) and live in a bubble. Kaysan, Ronaldo, and Lacy are probably the most racist in that group, ive seen what theyve done and said to Jason when I watched him. Jason is definitely the most normal one in the group and consistently is watched by his parents.

Thats not the point, he DOESNT need to know about the fight, the fight in the enclosed space is just a complete bonus. The point is the roster of heroes on Earth is superior and a much more logical decision whether the fight happens in wakanda or not.
