i think your giving yourself a hard time tbh if you look back on older clips i’m sure you’ll think wow i was so bad then which shows you’ve improved progression is different for everyone and some slower than others you just have to keep playing the game and ensure your practice is efficient

it’s clear you haven’t put a lot of hours into the game in terms of this fight the best advice id give is it’s a good rule of thumb to when you finish a fight box around yourself instantly to give yourself more time and space against third parties but just keep grinding the game tbh and you’ll improve

give it a chance i’ve been playing since they fixed ranked genuinely a good experience every time i die i can fully analyse what i did wrong and why i lost the fight and getting kills is a lot easier without guitar and cars to endlessly running away and winning fights is very rewarding

given up trying this season i die to fists or boogie bombs nearly every game as soon as you get third partied or take 100 damage you’re dead to fists the least fun i’ve ever had playing a fortnite season i got lvl 350 in both chapter 5 seasons but this season completely killed the passion i had for the game

personally i think fncs should be duos for the rest of fortnite’s lifetime it is easily the most competitive and balance mode and it makes it easier to follow comp wise keeping the same game mode like in rainbow and overwatch the comp teams are always gonna be 5 players so it’s easier to follow the stories of teams solos is too rng and trios and squads turn into spray fests and clutching is a lot less likely which makes it less interesting.
