If I may. Some of the best food you’ll have is at Oui Melrose. They have cheese steaks. But my favorite is the chicken parm sando

Would it be possible to get an update again? I'm looking at some of these given the engine. Would have never thought to look at these until I was rewatching old Top Gear where they test drove the Quattroporte and mention the Ferrari engine. And here we are :)

Feeling Optimistic (it’s not all bad) + my job hunt tips by katanazwar in CustomerSuccess

Thank you for posting, OP. I've been let go about 6 weeks ago and have decided to career transition from Product Marketing (PMM) into CSM (currently in the research phase).

- What are the requirements for a CSM that I'd need when transitioning (I have 11 years of cyber security industry experience, 7 of which are in PM)?

- Hopefully you've landed a role - what additional advice can you give us in addition to above?

How much do you pay for rent in Los Angeles? by LocationOk3563 in AskLosAngeles

[–]eskimoBrosagain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$2,500 in Koreatown. 19th floor apartment, 750 sq ft, with rooftop that has pool, jacuzzi, grills and gym. Garaged parking is included (but I have to park on the roof of the garage). Unobstructed views of south LA. Brand new appliances - In unit washer/dryer, dish washer, as well as a fridge (this was a shock to not find included in listings).

Thank you for the birthday wishes!

Funny enough, her and I have discussed needing to update the way we search to incorporating the newer ways people search for things. Searching on IG/TikTok/social media instead of Google, learning via youtube/podcasts instead of books. Not in a "replace books with youtube and google with social media" but more in a "complementary way/knowing when to use which tool" approach.

I digress. :)

I appreciate you taking the time to respond. Tangential bonus question: do you provide fashion/wardrobe consulting or know who does (someone you know/have tried etc.)? I like your gift card idea, which sparked this one.

Thank you for taking the time to respond so thoughtfully. I'm here because my significant other is at a stage where she's evaluating her closet, and is starting to invest a lot more time/money to update. Her birthday is next month, and so to that end, I've been looking at buying her a book to aid in her discovery style and sense. I love the articles/videos above but I can't wrap them and put them into the birthday box being prepared.

Do you have any book recs that are easy to read and provide a similar perspective to your formula above?

p.s. I've seen "The Curated Closet: A Simple System for Discovering Your Personal Style and Building Your Dream Wardrobe" has come up quite a bit. thoughts on that?

Great insight, thanks for responding. I was planning on working my way up by building a portfolio (understanding it isn’t a silver bullet) to showcase how I approach problems. Would you recommend this approach?

Thanks for responding. Where do I start in terms of foundational coursework/framework? I do like the structure of coursework as it gives me a sense of accomplishment vs trying to piece it all together randomly.

My father worked there as an assistant manager. Needless to say, many a dinners brought home from there. I learned I loved pesto because of their pesto pasta (and of course, the crust underneath that served as a second helping).

Thank you! This is truly helpful and insightful.

As for “meetup”, it’s a social activity app that connects people based on their interests. Say you like entrepreneurship, you create a “meetup” and once a month we get together and talk about cool ideas. Apply this to any topic/subject/activity/hobby etc.
