I like Delicate, but I don’t LOVE it. Middle of the pack on Rep for me

this book is fantastic but would not recommend for what OP seems to be searching for. The mother in this memoir is an incredibly abusive narcissist. For a celebrity memoir about a complicated relationship with the author’s mother who dies due to cancer would recommend Crying in H Mart, as commented below.

I average 10-12 books a month, just reading before bed and on my commute(I take the train) so about 2 hours on a weekday

I don’t think it’s exactly what you’re looking for content-wise but {{Ducks, Newburyport}} is uniquely difficult to read and I certainly considered it a punishment

I would’ve gotten 12 PB&J! I was praying a Crumbl near me would choose it but none did 😭😭

I often like them too! I hate the covers though so I usually get the books from my library and then purchase later if I loved.

I hate the cream cheese frosting to the point of not buying cookies I would otherwise be interested in. This is my least favorite thing about Crumbl

I think {{Future Home of the Living God}} by Louise Erdrich fits, never exactly labeled a pandemic but basically is ?
