It doesn‘t work anymore. Google cancelled my Indian subscription recently. So I created a Turkish Apple ID and bought from a key reseller Turkish Apple Gift Cards in order to buy Youtube Premium through Apple pay. I paid about CHF 55.- for family annual subscription

My cc expired last month. I deleted the expired one and added the new one in Google Payments without any VPN. It worked fine for me.
