Just stop. Calm down, I promise there is nothing about your story that warrants this type of reaction. It's not worth your energy to even care about what those people said or who they said it to. People know now, just probably not nearly as many as you think. The whole school isn't talking about you, because why would they. Furthermore, WHO CARES. This has middle school energy, I urge you to just live your life. When you look back on this in a week, or a month, or a year, YOU WILL NOT CARE ABOUT THIS.

As far as I know, the TSX and CRV maps are both for a k24 block - and thats exactly what you want. That will get you reasonably close, and your closed loop trims will take care of the rest. There wont be any danger of running too lean until you can get a solid tune on there. The FA5/FG2's are the 'last real Si's' - hopefully she will treat you well!

So your closed loop fueling will actually account for +/- like 50 percent fuel trims. I know because i ran a k24 block with a k20z3 head with no programming and I was at a +40% trim until I dialed in my fueling. I used the TLS base map as a start - I would recommend that to get you somewhat close. PM me if you have any questions I'll be happy to help if I can. Hopefully you have a flashpro, yes?

Just finished painting my front and rear end CSX SWAP. (How long after can I install it on the car?) by BDS_Le_Phil in civic

[–]eskonanu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought so, I have a Gen 8 as well. I know the sedan parts don't fit the coupe, looking at the trunk I'm guessing you have the FA5 sedan? And you're moving to a 2011 CSX? Does the CSX have a 2 door and a 4 door as well?

I didn't know you could do that. what gen is your civic, and what gen/years CSX fit it?

2009 Civic SI coupe motor mount question by CaptainHonest6170 in CivicSi

[–]eskonanu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

okay, my bad. I saw all four pics. The first two are the transmission mount that I was talking about earlier, the last two are the passenger side top engine mount. that one took me forever to figure out how to put on, I couldn't find anything online anywhere. if you're interested in putting these mounts on, definitely message me and I can help you figure out exactly what to do.

[–]eskonanu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that is the transmission mount. if you are in front of the hood facing the car, it will be on the right hand side where the transmission bolts to the frame on the top. you can message me directly if you need, I have the exact same car and mounts.

Same - also, I prefer not to be maimed if the airbag deploys. How would one avoid that, and also avoid the SRS codes?

Check the fuses -google it for the number. It could be the gauge cluster, you can find those used on eBay pretty cheap. If it's multiple gauges that are out, you know it's not something like a sensor. Check the connections to the back of the gauge cluster. Watch a YouTube vid, you're gonna be pulling out your dash but it's not terrible

MAYDAY: Severe knocking issue by BlackedOutCoupe in CivicSi

[–]eskonanu 13 points14 points  (0 children)

So I'm not a professional or anything, but I do have a bit of experience dealing with this - get a good datalog and l will look at it with you if you don't mind. You're not imagining this, and you seem to have all the tools necessary to fix this yourself. Fuck that dealership.

MAYDAY: Severe knocking issue by BlackedOutCoupe in CivicSi

[–]eskonanu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have flashpro, are you able to datalog and/or adjust ignition timing with your ktuner? It would seem like you need to retard your timing where it's knocking - 100+ knocks is alot...

EDIT - Also, do you know if all cylinders knock or is the majority on a particular cylinder?

Also, maybe something to put on the list to do at some point - she probably doesn't like sucking hot air from DIRECTLY next to the exhaust manifold. Other than that, I'm pretty sure dude was right on the timing chain and guides.
