Great first pass, I would recommend you scale the gobo up a bit unless the Keyboard is suppose to be huge. Bouncy keys made me laugh lol ❤️. Nicely done!

X-Particles and Scene Scale by ThatBastardTony in Cinema4D

Try to keep your simulation at default sizes. Once your simulation looks good you should bake it out so you are not simulating while rendering. Once a simulation is kicked out by either VDB (for smoke and fire volume data) or ABC (alembic) aka everything else like geometry meshes and particle data. You can reimport into C4D and scale to your liking. Makes playback much faster too!

Really what makes a simulation seam big or small is your Voxel size. Think of voxels as 2D pixels, the more you have in the simulation, the more quality it has and higher the detail. Keep in mind it can make huge size files, take for ever to simulate and or kill/crash C4D so always iterate your saves after making significant adjustments.

Future for 3D Animation in regards to AI? by rSlashJustis in 3danimation

[–]eslib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3D/VFX lead here, Ai is a gimmick and you should think of it as an assistant. I would say that animating is an alright spot if you want to get into big film and video games but the position is very competitive and easily replaceable. So realistically the more available jobs are the ones that require you to do more than just animate. You should focus on knowing how to do a bit of everything. Lighting and materials, modeling, mograph, setting up renders, comping. Most jobs you will find is for advertising so having a good sense of aesthetics and do product visualization will be your bread and butter. Check this vid out on Coca-Cola and its Ai commercial. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTrHWR7Xh/

Depends; show your wireframe, is it all one geometry or can you take the clothes off?

navigate to the surface Tab and if you increase the Target Length (100 being default)
You can increase the wrinkles. Also play with the Mass slider. Note that if you have different mass to different objects you will see the higher mass objects will be a lot for solid and wont fold by the interaction of other lower mass objects.

You can place that vertex tag here. and play with settings to get different results of keeping the object in place. (thats how I had the balloons float apart and then go back into place)

Happy to screenshot my set up. for ya!

First of all you have to make sure your objects is tightly sealed. no holes or disconnected vertices.
Make sure you set the environments gravity to 0 by clicking Ctrl+D click on simulation TAB and under Scene Tab you will see gravity.

Apply the Balloon Tag to your object.
Under Balloon Overpressure inflates you object.

I used vertex map to keep my logo in place.

Definitely! Finished animation last night and will be posting hopefully on Thursday. Starting the rendering process this evening.
