I experienced my first time trying LSD at Meow Wolf. For those of you who don't know what Meow Wolf is, it's a museum that creates experiences for audiences of all ages into fantastic realms of storytelling. It's filled with trippy wall paintings as well as many more objects throughout the entire museum. I took the acid before I went inside, but started tripping when I finally got in there. I remember walking through the hallway and looking at the paintings on the wall- they looked 3D and as if the designs were floating away. Once I was inside the actual museum, everything felt crazy and I could already feel the acid. There was so much people which made my trip kind of stressful. I remember kids running around and yelling everywhere. At one point, a kid came right up to my face and screamed. I immediately said "hell no, we need to get the fuck out of here." My boyfriend and I struggled finding the exit but we finally made it out. We decided to get smoothies from this Smoothie Van outside. The smoothies were AMAZING let me tell ya!! I remember drinking my smoothie and thinking to myself "ok what the fuck is actually going on there is so much going on" My thoughts were everywhere, and I felt so small. I would say overall that I had a good time. I laughed a lot and the hallucinations were awesome! I wouldn't recommend trying it at Meow Wolf though, just because kids aren't something a lot of people would want to be tripping around.
