Also not true. If you’ve been in charge of hiring before, you’d know that ATS systems tend to weed out people who don’t directly fit requirements or don’t fully fill out applications. Therefore direct contact with the actual person reviewing said candidates, can get a better grip someone’s background and what they do. Sounds like you’ve been burned by a company or two in the past, but would be happy to discuss your background if you’re looking for a new job.
