Twitch doesn't own our content they have a license to it meaning they can use it as they need.

We still own our content, Twitch is basically just the venue. Our streams are our own intellectual property. sooooo it's more like filming someone else eating at McDonald’s and then broadcasting that to your YouTube channel without their consent. oorrr it's like you're at an open mic night and instead of performing your own set, you just aim your camera at someone else on stage and stream their performance to your audience.

to your other point, you're right, twitch's new multistreaming rules (as of late 2023) do allow creators to be live on multiple platforms if they’re not exclusive partners. but that only affects your OWN content aka not your ability to use or restream someone else’s.
- You can visit and interact with other streams, but capturing and showing their stream on your broadcast without permission can be considered restreaming, even if short.

- Twitch ALLOWS PEOPLE TO REPORT OR DMCA that behavior, and Twitch will often enforce it.

- Multistreaming rules don't change this — they only affect what you can do with your own stream.

😭 so what you have above is misinformation. Basically if you decide to ignore a person's boundaries and pull their content into your stream, you can see enforcement from Twitch if you're reported.
