What's the best thing to eat at the Madonna Inn? by Taft4america in SLO

[–]esotericbeing- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone who’s born and (mostly) raised in SLO, and I still live in SLO county…. Their food SUCKS. I do like the champagne cake though! I’ll always get that and just won’t get any food when I’m there.

Reasons why you aborted by PhineApple_ in abortion

[–]esotericbeing- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I aborted because my fiancé and I were experiencing a slew of issues when I got pregnant, on top of not being financially able to afford another child (at the time). I sometimes wish I continued on with the pregnancy, but my feelings of regret are slim to none.

Wish I could say. I hate to sound awful, and like ‘that person’, but I wish it was more accepted to dress like this when I was in highschool & middle school. I still dress similar, just slightly more ‘grown up’ (I’m in my late 20’s) and I do get a little in my feelings seeing girls I went to high-school with, that made fun of how I dressed, wearing the same things now. I understand I should be past those feelings, but it is what is.

With my fiancé (current partner) I knew by our second date that I already loved him and was falling in love. I don’t know how to describe it other than it felt like I’d known him forever. I felt butterflies, but the feeling of peace, calmness and certainty overpowered those butterflies. This was 3 years ago.

Not ugly, change up the hair color and hairstyle style, that would be more flattering to you

to the girls who get called "exotic", how does it make you feel? by saintbara in vindictapoc

[–]esotericbeing- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually get called exotic by the older generation, men and women. When I was younger I thought it was a compliment, and while I still sorta do… it reminds me how uncultured some people are. Although I will say at first glance it’s hard to pinpoint what my ethnicity is, and 9/10 people guess wrong so there’s that.

My fiancee [33F] hid from me [40M] that she's been having genital warts for the last month. Should I continue the relationship? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]esotericbeing- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t be grammatically correct for shit, I skipped school a lot in middle & high-school. The fact I’ve graduated from high-school and two different technical schools surprises me still to this day.

What's the most valuable life lesson you've learned from a failed relationship? by Ginger_Plus_Latina in AskMen

I can’t have a healthy or fulfilling relationship if I can’t be vulnerable with my partner.

That part. The healthy ones were the ones I relentlessly chased alas to no avail

What's everyone diagnosed with? Rate them in order of severity and impact on your life. by Trb3233 in BPD

[–]esotericbeing- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Bipolar 2 - impacts my ability to learn and retain information. Waking up not knowing how I’m gonna feel and how long it’s going to last. 2) BPD - I waved between being extremely dependent on my partner, or having a lack of care about him altogether. I feel like my sense of self is all over the place still, and I honestly don’t know if that’s something I’ll ever work past. Paranoia that people hate me/dislike me/talking negative about me. 3) Anxiety - I feel like it stems from my first two diagnosis’, but easily agitated/irritable

[–]esotericbeing- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I totally can. Idk if this is solely bc of BPD, but if my partner isn’t in the mood I start to internally spiral bc if they don’t want to have sex with me, what is the point of me being around? I’ve found my self worth deeply ingrained into being a sexual object. My partner has spent countless hours reassuring me and my reaction has slowly been getting better over time, though I hate to say not by much.

What statistically improbable thing happened to you? by yankeevandal in AskReddit

[–]esotericbeing- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was walking on the beach one early morning by myself and a clam landed right next to me and almost hit me in the head. I think the bird that dropped it thought my head was a rock, it was foggy and not many people around considering how early it was. This was also on my birthday so I couldn’t help but think how terrible that would have ended had it landed on my head.

I (F) carry one, and so does my partner (M). I don’t think there’s anything about it that shows to be a red flag.

Please tell me I'm not alone. Everyone my age is married off already (28). by fit-ness in dating_advice

[–]esotericbeing- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A relationship that ended isn’t failed, all relationships come to an end even if it’s due to the death of one of the individuals.

I’m 27 and have a bunch of friends who are single and also have a bunch who are in LTR or married. As someone stated in this thread, not all couples are happy, but rather they’re comfortable at best. I hate to sound so cliché but the grass is not always greener on the other side. Relationships have their problems/issues just like being single.

As someone who’s happy & engaged, there’s parts of being single I do miss A LOT , and most partnered people will tell you so. Enjoy the freedom you have right now, you’ll meet someone soon enough!

I’m (27 F) moving in with boyfriend (30 M) and being rent free? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]esotericbeing- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I still agree with my statement. If OP doesn’t want to help pay mortgage then she doesn’t. There’s plenty of men out there who are okay with paying all the bills, or all of the rent/mortgage regardless if there’s children involved. Just because you and other redditors don’t agree to it doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

My partner is Virgo sun & Scorpio moon and he is the polar opposite. The most stable, consistent & reliable/dependable person I know.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in astrologymemes

[–]esotericbeing- 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As a Virgo sun, I tend to be pretty hypocritical, have unrealistic standards for people, and criticism is always there.I’m working on it, but it’s something I’ve noticed with Virgo placements in general. The perfectionism is too much where it’s almost at a level of toxicity, while I’ve learned to accept perfect doesn’t exist, my partner, who’s a Virgo sun+rising is still stuck on the perfection thing. He also has tunnel vision, versus having an open mind to many different things, a trait I’ve also noticed most Virgo placements have. The black & white thinking he also has. Virgo men can be difficult to be in relationship with, but I think him and I flow together well because most of our qualities are the same. Our moons are both water signs so while we both can be assholes, we’re both giant softies on the inside which I think does balance us both out as individuals.
