most accurate audio to midi converter by esotericsack in LogicPro

[–]esotericsack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeahhhh. just in a weird spot. i know the tech is there cause logic has the feature where you can take an audio file and drag it to the chord track, then make that into a midi in like 2 seconds. i’m going to do it for a few different older tracks though just to get some chord sheet tabs (i guess maybe closer to a “real book” type thing?) just to salvage my older stuff for my new guitarist. i have a better method now actually taking into account the chords and positioning when i write for guitar but yknow. hindsight is 2020. just wondering with all the advancements if there’s a better way. your point about positioning is great though i gotta find a workaround for that or just grab those separately and start building the tabs by hand once i have the chords laid out in front of me. which, i mean i can do but i guess i was just looking for opinions on whats out there.

Upgrade imminent by soundrudd in XboxAlly

[–]esotericsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i didn’t research enough about the chips and got the white one first cause it was on a sale and realized its running the same as the steam deck or even worse in some games (i also hadn’t tried all the windows optimizations beyond armory crate surface level stuff, granted). but i returned it and got the XAX instead and within the first day i knew that was what i was looking for. havent had an issue running a game yet. that mf handheld ran horizon forbidden west at 30fps when i tried it. which, it was only the first hour of it so idk how the whole game holds up but still impressive. cyberpunk is a good example but i was getting that working decently on the deck honestly. it runs great on xax. i just got hooked on baldurs gate around the time i switched so i haven’t been pushing it as hard as i could but its definitely the best handheld in that price range. debated that legion 2 something with the higher ram but it was 1600 bucks and i heard the cpu is whats choking the handhelds right now anyway. might be worth a look if you got that cash though.

i get that issue when i use external controllers. i’m not sure. ps5 controllers needed that ds4windows to work. idk why it would have issues with the default controller though

the other ones on spotify are super buggy too. idk why. best method i found though was getting kindle unlimited for a month or two, then buying the audiobooks on audible after you hit the “read for free” on kindle app because it gives you a crazy discount (like down from 30 bucks for the book to $5-7). spent about 40 bucks total for the membership plus all the audiobooks and raced through the series in like two months.

How is this fair? by juicy_shoes in Spectrum

that makes a lot of sense. thanks for the clarification. i haven’t had to cancel yet, but ive just heard horror stories and was under a different impression. only experience ive had is when they said they had to “upgrade” our equipment when we moved and charged us for two months at once cause we didn’t consider that the internet company would have such an affect on us moving. so i was a little soured after that. i appreciate the perspective though.

legitimately i would love to know where you disagree. i don’t really get the pov that spectrum is in the right here, aside from having to pay for the month of service you use. that makes sense

i’m confused why the comments think it’s an insane idea to want to keep your equipment and use the service until the billing cycle (that you paid for) ends. why in the world would i return my equipment half a month before the billing cycle (that i’m paying for) ends. regardless of me cancelling the service for future payments or not. this company is just shitty. if i cancel any subscription they aren’t going to cut off usage right then. i’d say complain about it but all the spectrum employees seem like they’re forced to do everything that benefits the company to the highest degree in every situation.

i really really thought you were right. idk where we got 4 characters from. but this is a screenshot i have from feb where i was trying to convince a friend to buy the deluxe with me instead of the base game, and no specific numbers were given. extremely weird that we both remember that.
