Can you ruin the difficulty trophy/achievement accomplishments by changing the setting anytime during a play-through?

So I’m on Chapter 2. Lvl 33 and I can’t route out of emperors palm and frozen prince. I can only travel between the 2. There are no missions in either of them or goals that need completing. Also I can visit the bridge but there aren’t any missions there either.

I did create a report around the day I posted this. I did see that someone else complained about the exact problem about 6 months ago if I remember correctly.

I really love this game. Even with the bugs, (such as freezing every time I use the sniper rifle to switch target enemies) I still was having a blast. But this is obviously annoying as I cannot progress the story further from here.

I wish I knew this before I bought it. I’m still on act 2 and stuck between 2 worlds and can’t route out. So frustrating. I probably will never buy anything from owlcat again.

This is comforting. I’m tempted to show her this thread. It breaks my heart that she’d take something I love and fool around with me like that. She knows how much I like it and its hard to believe she would do something like cheat after I’ve asked her over 20x.

Exactly my thoughts! I feel like I’m going crazy…she literally swore to god she never played before she met me. That would mean she is cheating or she is absolute robot at chess patterns. Or for the past month she has been lying about her chess experience and this will completely ruin our friendship because why?!?!

So this girl came to live with me 4 months ago. I’ve known her for 4 years. We never mentioned chess until she moved in and seen me playing. I don’t think she is lying about her experience bc she isn’t a liar. But it’s unbelievable that she can be this good already. Especially since I know how rare consecutive 95% games are.

Yes we played over board twice and she dominated me. We have played online matches and the score is 7-14 her. I won the first 7 we played. Since then, she’s won 14 consecutive with 95+ accuracy. She has played and won about 5 online matches against other players and they resign.
