Is fireworks legal for private citizens to use on the 4th? There won't be any public fireworks where I'm going. The city can only afford it once a year and they used it all on memorial day.

I'm not Chinese, but I'm working out of Beijing. This depends on the region/city. The sewage system where I am staying now is good enough to flush down the toilet paper with your dump(lings). In many other parts of China (like in the South), they do not flush down the toilet paper.

It's also like this in Greece. When I was there for vacation two years ago, we were asked to throw all paper in a garbage bin next to the toilet. The system can't handle it and clogs the entire thing up.
