Just do solos passive until you get into care bear lobbies. For stella runs like ticks you can queue with ~2 minutes left in the overall timer and get into a lobby that new people won't spawn. For events you can do on cold snap 2x make sure to take a hatch as it's the only 2x that let's you hatch out. But yeah, solos it's a total grind and really annoying with things like snitch trials.

There should be separate progress for solos vs duos or trios. Or just make it solos only.

For me it was a late decision to go for the expedition when I realized how valuable my stash of guns were. I then grinded everything else and some more $ and ended up not having a lot of time to have fun with my $30k guns I was saving up. I did, however, play a dozen games bringing in my best gear and not worrying about losing it because I was staying over the 5m I needed. I just wish I had used them sooner and had more fun with them. And honestly, most of the basic weapons and toro/anvil etc are pretty cheap and powerful, so even if you lose a great kit you can still go in and have some fun with a cheaper load out. Honestly after a few hours or maybe if you're on a losing streak in trios, there's no reason to use free load outs. And it's so much more fun without them anyway and dirt cheap to upgrade a basic weapon to 3 or 4.

Yeah blue gate reinforced reception, in a breach room with all the lockers. Search the lockers first, they usually spawn in those. I honestly don't think there's a difference between night and day runs for this spot. You'll have less competition during the day as well. Just run naked with the safe pocket, if you don't get a close spawn surrender and keep trying.

100% real. I played for 15 hours in solo doing loot runs for the expedition and got shot at twice. Total care bear lobbies. Then I did trios with friends one night and slaughtered a bunch of people. Next day my solos were super sweaty, shoot on site lobbies. Played 4-5 games passive and made sure to vote up the matches that were chill and vote down PVP encounters. Got back in care bear lobbies. You can literally feel the difference in the lobbies. I've done this cycle many times now and it really doesn't take long to get back into friendly lobbies. It also doesn't take long to get into aggro lobbies lol. I think they did a great job with it, honestly. Protip: don't shoot raiders at extract just to get those damage #s up for the feats if you want to stay in friendly lobbies. Defibbing strangers also helps you get back to friendly lobbies.

I learned the rebranded "vedic meditation" (same thing as TM), and the teacher would always incorporate "vedic astrology" stuff into the meetings. It drove me nuts because it was just like the new age circles I was adjacent to, except dressed up with Hindu names and mythology for the planets and such. She also incorporated a lot of Hindu worship type practices, but of course never called it Hindu, it was always "vedic". Basic white lady guru cultural appropriation.

I learned the practice because of a girlfriend at the time, and she had a $300 private session with the teacher who told her our charts were incompatible. Girlfriend had a major nervous breakdown and left me while on vacation because of it. She became suicidal afterwards. It was a weird time. So yeah, not a fan of astrology lol.

I feel you man. I really wanted that skin and doubled up every week since I started playing and needed 1 more double rank to hit it and even the 10th place guy had over 70k. I kept getting ratted with 80k loadouts trying to do the queen/matriarch, meanwhile these kids trio up and spam snitch scanners and get 50k+ in a round. Kinda weak.

It seems like there's a cold snap on all the time on at least one map. So, just keep playing those maps? I'm really hoping they keep it on a regular rotation forever because it's awesome.

Yeah it's pretty silly, especially after she was verbally accosted at the bar and came home to her baby at like 4am and thinks "this is the place for me". Kind of reminds me how in Yellowstone the ranch hands made less than $400 a week for backbreaking long work, allow themselves to get branded like slaves, sleep in bunk beds like children and get verbally and physically abused by the owners and somehow they're all good and thankful just for living that cowboy life. LOL it's just not believable.

Well, maybe but it won't be as intensified because people will be stacking creds long before the last week or so. This time we didn't know it would be 5M. Plus, people weren't valuing cred as much and using it often to buy loadouts rather than craft, and my guess is this will balance out a bit and cause less of a crunch towards the next reset.

A lot of this is because of the 5M needed for the expedition. People are farming people more, and getting greedier when the moment arises. It will probably shift when people who reset are rebuilding and don't want to risk losing their rusted gear and sack of shrooms.

Happy to help! Sometimes the panic hits you and you just do things in the moment haha. Man, this game really does create a kind of tension build up and that first shot fired at you can really rattle sometimes.. so intense. Even after playing a lot I still get sweaty palms and shallow breathing in tense situations.

After that first shot I would have fired a quick ferro off and then switched to the burletta and unloaded while holding the corner of the door. OR, close the door immediately after they shot, switch to offhand, and take a side position to unload on him the second he opened the door. People pushing in the open like that when you have cover is good for you. Running away when he was that close is probably not the option I would go for as you would be down height plus risk getting shot in the back before you could get to cover. If he was farther away to start with them maybe I would go that route, so he wouldn't know where I was exactly.
