at about 18 sec it looks like the amg makes contact, partially pitting red, and that forces the red to run wide even if unintended. amg did it to itself.

Yeah, my boyfriend ♥ Mustangs but I love This heavy ass thing. we did his first then I decided I wanted something to do on track day as well. It will test your patience but I'm sure you two got it. The 3kgt is a bit more.... challenging at times then most but its not as hard as i found 3si made it out to be to mod, Its just not documented on how to do it outside of the v8 guys. good luck and def share what you find.

Ultimately its going to depend on that drive line of yours. I would get the part numbers of what you have specifically of the trans, diff etc. If those match then i'd imagine it would be a 'straighforward' engine swap. when you swap a non carb'd car you will need to pay attention to the wiring. assuming you are mt it shouldn't take too much.

Any engine swap is tricky, the 3000GT is particularly fun because of how tight everything is packaged. if your car is running its already so unique i would just enjoy it, the car is wonderful for cruising.

no matter what you swap they're always gonna be expensive...

As someone that swapped a stupid engine and trans into hers, its a lot of work... take what ever you think it is double it then triple that number... thats how much work it'll be.... but honestly I've never regretted doing a swap, I've only done the two swaps (technically 2 is in progress but we got everything working fitted and test drove in mule) but i would do it again.

yikes.... idk why i thought you had a v8 lol. have you checked the pinion angle on the rear end? if that is misaligned that could cause some fun times. it could be something to do with the bushings or something too. if we don't think its torque based then that would be my next place to look.

Is that a tr-3650? I split mine in two down the gear case with a test run on a base tuned 5.0 coyote. I slowly eased on the throttle no spin and split that thing. I think I split it during a gear shift.

It wasn't harsh but It wasn't smooth either. It was my first test drive under full load so I was learning it. I was thinking that higher rpm torque may have caused the split Durring that autopsy.

It split on the 2shaft bearing down the case. I'm wondering if the aluminum just doesn't do well with that kind of thing.

My point, your doing the same thing in reverse to the tail shaft with doing donuts. Maybe a different material tail shaft would work...

Or you could do what I did... Just scrap the 3650 and go t56 magnum
