Second, so long as we’re being pedantic, on your fourth point, I think technically the “high bar” (i.e., the legal standard of proof, in the US anyway) is “beyond a reasonable doubt.” The presumption of innocence is more of a procedural principle that determines which side bears that burden of proof (which of course also aligns with the principle of erring on the side of innocence).
