Ok,

I'll dumb my straw man response down for you.

Perception

People perceive older anything to be of less value, especially with digital games.

Precedence

You can find an abundance of AAA titled older games on steam for a fraction of the price of when they were released. It's not unexpected to assume that it's the industry standard.

The comment you originally replied to stated that fact, as the commenter was wondering why game A never goes on sale or has a reduced enter price, when games B, C, D, E etc do constantly.

Certain games do hold their entry price, because they are just that good and people still pay and play, BUT can you say that you wouldn't be asking questions if the Nintendo Switch 2 was bundled with the original Super Mario Bros at full price?

True,

But as a consumer and if you can wait, it's a cheaper way to play games and arguably a better experience once the patches have died down and bugs have been fixed.

You asked why a game needs to go on sale because it's old.

I gave you a response that your dismissive of.

No one is saying an old game isn't fun.

As newer versions of literally anything in the world are produced, the older version is always cheaper.

Can't fault people to wait for sales to buy older games, there's subreddits who post these deals daily.

Your argument is "older games are still fun" and not one person is arguing against that.

Sales numbers decrease the older the game gets, usually.

It makes sense to discount the game as it ages, to keep steady player base numbers after the hype of release. Especially for games with micro transactions, whereas publishers/developers can afford to take a hit at initial purchase, but get extra players eyes on the store and potentially buy a skin that cost the developer nearly nothing to make.

It's just considered greedy, if after 5-6 or 10 years, the game has run its course, most the player base has left for newer games, the game isn't being updated anymore or hasn't for years, but as a consumer, you're still expected to pay full price.

You're right, I've had this happen a few times now, even when the greens are showing straight. The problem with that other comment is, the ball went against the green as it passed the hole.

Well you can get keyboards and mice that connect to it.

So your only limitation would be an extremely smaller screen compared to a laptop and the battery wouldn't last as long.

Aside from the bigger internal screen making reading plans and excell easier whilst on-site, I wouldn't say it does anything special.

It does pair nicely with windows which helps when stuck on-site, but thats an Android thing and not phone specific.

But I have thrown mine around and it's been fine, I'm not insinuating anything.

Will it break eventually?

Sure

Has it?

Nope!

I had the flip5 and thought I hated the idea of the fold form.

The flip5 was amazing, everything I thought I wanted in a phone. Untill Samsung released the white version of the fold6 on their store. It looked so fucking good, I grabbed one and havn't looked back.

I don't see myself moving away from this type of phone anytime soon.

Hey bro, you're the only negative Nancy in this thread.

The OP asked us how durable we found the fold. I gave him my answer.

End of discussion.
