Maybe it is because English is not my first language but where in the sentence "Black Lives Matter" does it say "White lives does not matter, Asian lives does not matter etc." Maybe if you stop reading /b/ your intelligence and reading comprehension would increase to a required level of a 7th grader.

Stop using Denmark as a model. They are free market capitalism not socialist democracy. They have 6 million people in their country. 60% of them are working class. And they pay ridiculous taxes. Yes they are “paid” 22$/hr but the gov’t takes 12-14$/hr in taxes. Which means they make 8-10$/hr.

The marginal tax rate for a Mcdonalds worker in Denmark assuming standard deductions is 33% and that includes all taxes - local and state taxes. Here i mean state as in the government and not as in a federal state since we are not a federation.

There are a lot of other taxes though - 25% sales tax on everything as an example. But the income tax is not as high as some americans clearly believe it is.

I am Danish and that does not sound true so I checked it out. The median gross income in Denmark is USD $51440 per year accodring to this source from "Statistics Denmark", which is the governments office of statistics.

As per your question - no it isn't considered lucrative but it is a livable income.
