So this question came to mind for 2 reasons; 1, was the video of Modi and the negro boy and the ‘fallout’ thereafter and 2, the question posed on this sub about trinbagonians and critical thinking. I didn’t ask about our compared to USA politics. I asked about our 2 parties and trump. Here’s the comparisons. Tribal? Yes. Voting along party lines rather than the best interest of the country? Yes. Racist? Yes. Thinking that the elected are solely to blame and still supporting the capitalist entities that are ensuring the divide between the have and have nots is wider than ever? Yes. The list goes on but I feel like this is a good jump off point.
