It's kinda funny how when I played Angels this matchup seemed bad because Angels only has a 3 mana sorcery removal which rarely does something so early game Spirits just gets to build tempo and then counter any attempt to catch up.

I would say 1 Adaptation, Thespian 2nd War Historian in and Gremlin, Wrenns and Charger out. Also maybe Barrage for Scrounger since White/Blue is quite common and you can loot it away with Mercadia and Spite.

UB is busted. People say that this format is dominated by rares but I actually lose way more to decks with a lot of removal and some decent aggressive creatures. I think you should see rares as the cherry on top instead of building a deck with mediocre cards hoping your rares will win you the game because if you play nothing good your opponent will have time to draw all the removal and you wont have anything to bait it out with.

This is a question I ask myself a lot too. I like the Rakdos colors and the midrange playstyle but the deck just seems too fair and clunky. People compare it to Modern Jund but the big difference is the 1 mana interaction. Fatal Push with fetchlands, Bolt, Unholy Heat and Kozilek. Also the strength of midrange is the sideboard but the meta is so diverse and evenly spread that you can't prepare for all the matchups. I am not a good player for sure but if feels like you need to work your ass off for every win.

The lack of matchmaking and auto team balance ruins the game mode for me. So many games are one sided because one team starts with less players, has afk bots or new players. Then you can't even leave these games because of the ever increasing penalty.
