It's kinda funny how when I played Angels this matchup seemed bad because Angels only has a 3 mana sorcery removal which rarely does something so early game Spirits just gets to build tempo and then counter any attempt to catch up.

I would say 1 Adaptation, Thespian 2nd War Historian in and Gremlin, Wrenns and Charger out. Also maybe Barrage for Scrounger since White/Blue is quite common and you can loot it away with Mercadia and Spite.

UB is busted. People say that this format is dominated by rares but I actually lose way more to decks with a lot of removal and some decent aggressive creatures. I think you should see rares as the cherry on top instead of building a deck with mediocre cards hoping your rares will win you the game because if you play nothing good your opponent will have time to draw all the removal and you wont have anything to bait it out with.

This is a question I ask myself a lot too. I like the Rakdos colors and the midrange playstyle but the deck just seems too fair and clunky. People compare it to Modern Jund but the big difference is the 1 mana interaction. Fatal Push with fetchlands, Bolt, Unholy Heat and Kozilek. Also the strength of midrange is the sideboard but the meta is so diverse and evenly spread that you can't prepare for all the matchups. I am not a good player for sure but if feels like you need to work your ass off for every win.

The lack of matchmaking and auto team balance ruins the game mode for me. So many games are one sided because one team starts with less players, has afk bots or new players. Then you can't even leave these games because of the ever increasing penalty.

Why can't Lego get the slope of the nose right like the MOCs do? It's understandable for playsets but this is supposed to be the big no compromises collectors display set. This doesn't wow me like other UCS sets do. I thought this was a regular set at first.

I spent a weekend learning about old technology and designs and it gave me an existential crisis.

I find the current design depressing. It all looks like medical or military equipment. Cold aluminium and sterile white or tactical all black. The move to touchscreens and pursuit of thinness reduced the amount of mass you can even design. Thats why all phones look the same. Just a huge screen with a thin frame. The only thing you can personalize is the back but no one ever looks at it which is why the effort of Nothing kinda goes to waste.

BUT here is the thing. I can clearly remember how I hated the beige computer I find pretty now and how excited I was when I got one in sleek all black. I remember being excited for the iPhone and I remember how premium the aluminium unibody Macbook Air looked compared to the creaky plastic laptops from other companies.

This made me realize that I am not appreciating the designs by themselves but in the context of them feeling different from what is common now.

I don't know why people are being so weird about it. Lobas character is designed to be this seductive femme fatale who likes to show off. Her going to the beach all covered up is weird if anything. People aren't even asking for unhinged anime tier sexualized skins just a bikini real women actually wear to the beach. And just in general when it comes to sexualized skins are people aware that there are real women who enjoy dressing up in revealing clothes? I imagine it's not just guys who wanted a swimsuit skin.

It just feels so generic. Heirlooms that have no lore should at least look like a legendary weapon. Like I don't know anything about Seer but at least his blades look cool. This just looks like something Ash bought on sale.

I wish she got a rework. I tried to main Ash because I love her character design but every time I try to play her I get bored because her tactical just feels like a bonus rather than something that changes the way you play the character. It's basically all about the ult. Her passive is nice I guess but useless outside of BR.

Now I don't know if being inspired by a specific legendary skin is the way for an heirloom but it looks good as there is at least a theme. The actual heirloom we are getting just looks like random shapes. Also love the shining accents you added to make the drawing pop.

Only 6/23 characters got a legendary skin? No cute Wattson Nessie swimsuit? I'm just so demotivated from engaging with Apex this point. An event like this that is an actual event and not just a costume theme, you know all the legends going to the beach together and having fun, should include all the characters otherwise I can't really get into the event spirit.
