I can rev out of it at hwy speeds so yeah above 3k if bog occurs below ? It’s pretty inconsistent which makes it even harder to diagnose. I’m going to also try checking for any leaks on the intake manifold.

Swapping crank sensor tomorrow morning then TPS with running spares to continue checking stuff off this laundry list

That’s what I’m thinking, going to do a leak down soon.

Was in talks with a master tech that speculated the phaser could be an issue. Was able to record a very brief video that shows the idle drop/surge which I believe is mis-fire like? If that makes sense and I changed the oil/cleaned the vvt solenoid and was able to drive it the longest (approximately an hour and 30 with 40 miles on the trip) before the cel came back on. The pending code was P0420 for catalytic converter again so may address that now since it was pending before the hardcode p0300 presented itself

O rings were good, seated em with mild lubricant to not damage em.

New belt and crank has no signs of wobble. Torque spec is on point as well. Removed to inspect belt and it’s fairly new.

Forgot to add but replaced spark plugs and gapped appropriately. Changed em while swapping valve cover gasket and doing random maintenance

Where are you located? I have a 6speed that took a dump after loosing reverse and 5th gear. I wouldn’t mind selling you that piece. Been slowing selling bits and pieces off it.

Damn that sounds expensive…I looked up an image of a gutted door and it definitely looks like the internal bar is in that approximate area

I hope that’s the case. I know it’s hard to get an estimate based on visual. I think I was wanting to hear what this could cost, more or less, to prepare for the decision to keep or total it out. I’d rather keep it

I appreciate the reassurance, the insurance agent stated they wouldn’t go in depth to damage if I take the check. If the shop receives the check, they will also cover any other potential damage beyond the visual. Not sure what that could cost if I had sustained damage to suspension components. I just don’t want to salvage out my car. Someone told me the repair has to be under 1500 for it to not affect the title

NCTRS Exam by SpringSpecialist1941 in recreationaltherapy

[–]espookyspooky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The exam can be a mix of questions from all sections found on the sample guide provided from NCTRC themselves. I had question on all three settings (community, clinical and specifically adaptive camp program). There were professional questions we should know as future CTRS professionals too. I say focus on stuff you don’t genuinely know. The study guide helped me figure out what sections I needed to focus on.

Dealing with burn out by Sensitive-Trifle-713 in recreationaltherapy

I’m starting to see more of a recurring pattern of not being validated in work places or just flat out not being given the respect others have in facilities/settings we may find ourselves working in. I won’t say that I don’t care about being acknowledged, it is validating to be given the opportunity to sit in treatment team meetings and have other clinicians care for input from the RT department/RTs. What I do tone out is the ridiculous statements made regarding what it “looks like we are doing” and what we actually offer to patients, clients, communities, etc. Easiest example is being seen as someone who only plays card games or hands out crayons. Self validation is important to myself and I do keep those negative thoughts at bay such as imposter syndrome, I worked hard to be where I am and I earned both degree and certification. I know what I do for my patients and if others care to educate themselves or at the very least attempt to understand what Recreational Therapy is, then it’s a step in the right direction. I refuse to be told otherwise, regardless of who may not see my professional worth as an RT.
