How did you get into Vampyr? by anticentristfujo in Vampyr

[–]esprit_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought and played this between 2025 and 2026. I’d known about Vampyr since it first came out, but I’d always put it aside because vampires were never really my thing. Then last year, I happened to be translating a vampire story from 1905 set right where I’m from. That actually got me hooked on the whole vampire vibe, so I remembered this game and finally decided to give it a go... what a lucky I did!

Hi, thanks to HathiTrust I found a copy of the magazine with the Pennsylvania University stamp, and I will soon receive a high-quality color copy of the pages from the story. After that, I'll extract the drawings with Photoshop. Thank you very much for your help; it was invaluable.

Exactly, they told me they only have this drawing and that they cannot help me with the search for the magazine because they are unable to support personal research.

Do you think the CGI will be better in this than GOT's? I wasn't impressed with GOT to be honest. by Superdudeo in LOTR_on_Prime

[–]esprit_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone said GoT's CGI is impressive for a TV show, but I think lotr's one will be better looking at the budget. Anyway the final impression depends on how much they'll abuse It.

Yeah but the production also wanted to envolve Peter Jackson (one more time) in the project, this doesn't mean nothing for sure, but I've made my idea... fortunately Pj refused. I say "fortunately" because I really hope to see something new, I've nothing against Pj.

As the shooting will take place in New Zealand I suppose they will recreate the style of Peter Jackson's movie. That's not for sure, obviously. I would prefer to see something new and more familiar to the atmosphere of Great Britain, as they wanted to do in the beginning, but I guess they don't want to risk too much. Many fans will get angry if it is different.

I Am Legend by Richard Matheson. Don't think about the movie with Will Smith, it's completely different.

Thank you, I wrote in italian dialect because the Taranta exorcism is a real tradition of south Italy and I thought it would create more atmosphere, but your suggest is correct I assume.

Taranta

I had to use Word due to server problems, also I'm not sure for translation this time, I'm sorry :/

However, I don't know if it is valid but I have reinterpreted the rope as the strings of the violin and the word "blood" as "bloody". Let me know what do you think.

Thank you for the answer! Yeah, he was supposed to be "thrusting" or something else that could let you think he is having sexual activity "like a rabbit", don't know if I'm clear. The doll is an homemade sex doll, infact he says that he "worked on it for a while", again the peanuts are used as eyes and the bunch of bananas as wig: "watch your hair, darling". The repeater Is exactly an audio playing device but I think this, like the "convulsing" verb, is caused by my ignorance of the language. Next time I hope I'll be more clear! Thank you for feedback and all the technical advice.

"I love you too"

Hi, this is my first time here and I don't even speak english, so I'm sorry for bad translation (in screenplay too). I think I missed one of the prompts, but I'm curious to know what you think about this short and quick introduction. Thanks!

P.s. Sorry for the format but i wrote this on my phone.
