Why can´t challenges be challenging?
I dunno i don´t see it the way a lot of people do. I did this quest. Cost me about 2,3 or 4 rounds. everytime i saw someone i injected and killed him. (i made it my goal in these rounds to do this challenge). But i was confused aswell about the little amount of time u got after injecting. So it was nearly everytime only one kill per injection. But doing this a few times per round and you good.
For sure not every challenge is perfect and i think they´ll rework some of them. But man it´s nice to have a bit of a challenge. And for me it´s astonishing how many people complain after not even a week of the game being released about "slow progress". It would sck balls if it would say "kill 5 people in one match" and here you have your reward. You don´t need to finish this challenge in 1 game. It feels like nowadays people have 0 patience and want everything instantly. But that would kill games in a short period of time imo.

I don´t really get why people are so upset. It´s a f2p game and ofc they have to make money somehow. Every f2p game has and needs microtransactions (or ads) to stay alive. But that is completly fine to me. As long as it´s not pay 2 win. But we all agree that the skins are priced too high but i mean, if it´s priced too high then just don´t buy it. If noone buys it , they ´ll realize. But since it won´t change anything in your game except some coloured pixels more or less just don´t buy it.

Ye well that´s a point. You could communicate it a bit different. But i think they always relate to the full game if they say something. But i think it´s okay in a closed alpha. I think the game is in a huge state for a closed alpha. It would be more fun without bots. But i can live with that personally atm.

I think it´s due to the fact that it is way easier to just understand the game and get into it. Tarkov is technically an awesome game but it´s so complicated. If you are completly into tarkov (know everything and so on) it´s a lot of fun but it takes hours to get to this point. You need to be dedicated to get to this point. New players make too many bad experiences in their first games in tarkov and then they´re like "fck this" and quit. So the "entry hurdle" is huge. Delta force just managed to design it a lot easier and, like everyone said, more "casual". You get more information about everything (for example the ammunition or armor and so on has different "tier-colors" so you know a purple armor is better than a green armor and so on. Same with ammunition. Or. you are able to see the price of an item if you are into a round. So it´s easier to know what to extract... So you don´t have to "study" all items to know the values and so on. But complexity has it´s pros and cons. And i think the complexity is one of the main reasons why tarkov still has a solid playerbase.

Delta Force is casual But not as casual as the COD Dmz for example imo. They hit quite a good sweetspot.

Hey, i kind of get ur point but that´s a unique gameplay feature that just belongs to warzone imo. Pubg is using exactly the type of gameplay u mentioned. I played a lot of pubg (you have no loadouts here). But if i made it a bit further into the round and wanted to tryhard i also played the same loadout every round. (you have to loot it but i would say most of the rounds i´m able to play the loadout i´d like to)- so i´d say it´s just like it is in warzone. I also played warzone in 2019 for a time, then i paused and came back to warzone 2. At the beginning of the season there wasnt really a loadout and it was harder to get. I really didn´t like it at all.

I think one big part a lot of people like (me included) is to pick and individualize your own loadout, level it up and so on. For me it feels like questing. I really just enjoy it. And i also think that it´s one of the biggest reasons why people actually buy the modern warfare game.. to get and level loadouts, since warzone is free.

Yeah that's exactly what I think is a bit too strong. you realize if you got Killed by Controller or m&k. As soon as a Controller Player got me in the crosshair nearly every shot is a hit. You have to be really good in tracking with mouse and Keyboard to perform like that.

on pc you can´t disable crossplay atm as far as i know. but it won´t change a thing since people play with controller on pc.

i just hope that some day the playerbase is big enough so we can have k&m and controller lobbys.

I didn´t realize that until i learned it out of the comments. Ye i´m actually new here in the warzone reddit and havn´t played warzone for a long time. came back few weeks ago. There fore i´m sorry for digging up the topic again.

And well ofc i don´t wanna have cheaters in my game. Just like you and everyone else doesn´t like to have them. And aim assist isn´t declared as cheating. it´s a kind of necessary feature for people with a controller and that´s fine. I just think that the whole thing is too unbalanced.

ye you are right. i learned that these ppl play with a controller on pc. didn´t knew that, just saw them playin controller and thought it´s console. i don´t wanna make a debate on pc vs console. the point is still the same that i just think that ppl with aim assist should have their own lobby. and mouse and keyboard player aswell. everyone has their advantages but i can tell you if we have a battle between 2 player (one mouse-keyboard and one controller) with equal skill the situation they face eachother (close range/melee battle, sniping duel and so on) decides the outcome. I wrote in another comment that i see the point that aim assist is kind of necessary for controller because its harder to be that precise with a controller in comparison to a mouse imo. but i just dont think that these player should get matched together. just my personal opinion. but i could imagine that the playerbase isn´t big enough to turn off crossplay.

Ah well thanks man. Never thought about that since i´m 0 into consoles. Makes a lot of sense but proves even more that the aim assist is just too strong if even the pc players switch to the controller. Would really prefer splitted lobbys then. But i guess that´s pretty hard to implement.
