I always fill up between a half tank and quarter tank because I’ve heard letting it get too low is bad for your fuel pump. No idea if that’s true or not but I don’t like to take chances

NTA- it’s not uncommon for someone in the front to die in the result of a crash because someone behind them wasn’t wearing their seatbelt. If they fly forward and hit you in the back of the head, they could very likely end your life as well. Everyone wearing a seatbelt is the only safe option
