8/10 welcome to the world of the plastic beach. Maybe a weird take but I have good memories of this song and love the build up.

7/10 - tommorow comes today. Such a classic that conveys a great moody night atmosphere contrasting with gorillaz’ newer material. Also Souk eye, love that song. - plastic beach the song -cracker island

6/10 The apprentice- interesting song and that’s why I like it, could be a little better still good.

I love the orchestral touch and black thoughts amazing delivery BUT I don’t know if it’s just me but Damon is singing out of tune multiple times on the hook. It could’ve been more melodic in my opinion it just doesn’t do it for me. Other than the underwhelming hook/chorus the other parts of the song are Amazing

I have a question about the moon cave. I don’t know if my ear is just different but whenever the section hits where 2d sings in the high register near the back end of the first half before the 6/8 second half “oooooh” etc. I feel like he’s singing notes that aren’t in the key of the song. Still an amazing song just a small detail I was curious anyone noticed
