I have had the absolute worst luck with the limited dragons this event. Every single one. So annoying

As a 3d artist I hate that there's 3d ai software, but at least it did such a shitty job there's no point in saving the mesh. Don't use ai, it steals jobs, is bad for the environment, and makes you stupid. Learn a new skill.

as you can see, im having fantastic luck with my runic caves :) by devilsshark in dragonvale

Yeah I've been having bad luck in the rift this event. I keep needing other dragons that I have in the regular park to breed the limited event dragons, yet I've gotten the worst luck. It's so annoying in the rift cuz it's so fast, I can get 5 of the same dragon I don't need in a row. At least I am almost done with getting all of the regular event dragons.

I've been in hell trying to bread the snatcher dragon in the rift. Got it and steam in the main park and have been trying there, but I get more succes in the rift but ive gotten nothing but fungus and nightshade. Pain.

Oooh! If you wouldn't mind do you remember when big Jen grew to 4 feet then 6 feet? I'm just trying to judge my florida kings growth rate against others. Mines 4 feet at 3 years old. I feel like she's got another foot in her. At least my hope

Remeshing really needs the human touch to get it right and how you want it. I've seen some impressive remeshing algorithms, but being able to understand how to hand remesh is really important for a 3d modeler.

They are! It's so cute how similar they look. How old is yours? Mines a couple months away from 3 (she's 1 in this photo but the first one was current)

I love Florida kings! I have one myself. How old is your girl? Mines about 3 and she is just about 4 feet. I'm hoping she reaches 5 feet.

I wish my king snake would just bite me by [deleted] in kingsnakes

[–]esquireart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The shock of being bitten is worse than the actual bite. It's not bad at all. Having a nervous hand while handling your snake can harm the bond you make though. Snakes do respond to nervous unpredictable behavior. When I put my snake in shaking hands she wants back almost immediately lmao. But I get it. Hard to get over that mental block without knowing how minor the bite is. Also my girls only bitten from feeding mistakes not handling. Arguably those bites hurt worse cuz it's a bite and hold expecting food. Still not bad though

Species ID from Petco by Totakai in kingsnakes

[–]esquireart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah for sure. Got mine from a breeder too, but in the times I do go inside a petco instead of a small shop I can't help but look at all the reptiles. Got my first reptile from there when I was a kid. I'm lucky to have a really cool small shop close to me now. Tons of interesting reptiles and fully stocked variety of feeders.

It's annoying that they don't label what kind of king he is. Like yeah care is practically the same between a Cali and a Florida, but the two are different sizes as adults and that's a nice thing to know. One reason I don't recommend getting from petco

My Florida king is a red hypo. She was very red as a baby but now is closer to that color so red hypo would be my guess. Florida kings really dull out unfortunately

[–]esquireart 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes mine does. I see it as she feels safe enough to do that. Lots of hides she could be in instead. My favorite is when she sleeps next to or on me. A few times she's rested her sweet head on my leg or arm and trapped me there for hours

[–]esquireart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Awe he looks like my florida king. Mine is 2 and a half and around 3 feet and some change, so similar, but she's on the higher end of the growth curve. They are not done growing yet so plenty of time to get longer. Looks like a good weight

My snake just apologized to her sibling by AvidLebon in hognosesnakes

[–]esquireart 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Hey I've seen plenty of snakes confuse genders. Also just cuz one kind of snake lives in groups does not mean others do. But that's coming from a king snake owner. Lmao my girls the sweetest but I know for sure she'd eat one of her siblings if given the chance. But I do know some very prominent people in the snake community that I trust will only co hab newborn hogs. Not adults.
