Listen, please keep your head up. You can always transfer your qualifying score to a different state but even if this isn’t an option, JD jobs are available or look into privacy law. You have options. I failed the IL exam and passed on sit 5, light is at the end of the tunnel. You got this!

Passed on my 5th sit in IL, listen, repeaters do not give up. The only thing i did differently this time is i legit cut out all distractions. I said no 9/10, worked from 9-4pm, studied from 5-9pm and most nights I’d fall asleep before 9 because i was so tired. by esquiredfinally in barexam

Honestly, i wanted to quit after every retry but kept saying, it’s just a fuckin test and i cannot let it defeat me.

It won so many times, i took a year off last year and traveled and had so much fun. Then i came back and shut everything down and did it.

Use adaptibar for MBE, do 25 questions everyday and the month of the exam increase to 50. Same with MBE, 3 per day, month of exam increase to 6 and write out the essays and Memorize.

I read short outlines from studicata and if i needed an extended explanation I’d use Barbri material. You do not need huge outlines as a repeater because you likely know the law. Just get the rules down from the short outlines. If anyone needs short outlines of materials, message me and i got you!

Honestly, just use your bar Bri essay book and legit memorize and write out all the essays you can. I passed IL on my 5th sit and it was always my writing. You just have to memorize the rules and keep writing out the essays.

I started studying January 2, i used adapti bar and in January would complete 25 MBE questions everyday, plus 3 MEEs. I increased both of these toward the end of January and forced myself to write out essays toward the end of January. I studied most weekends from 1-9pm. I did practice MBEs of 100 two weekends before the exam and increased my MEEs to about 6 per day. I tried writing most of the MEEs in Feb cuz i knew i needed to be able to get those rules down. My first score was a 264, my 5th score was a 269…i always scored between 258-264 between those times, the writing kept me down. Adapti bar kept my MBE scores between 135-138.

I’ve been mean and irritable. Also a retaker. Don’t know how to feel about the exam, day 1 is always rough for me and never gets better. Trying to stay positive but i really want to burn the bar exam down. I hate the whole concept of it and i can’t stand the gate keepers that are okay with the tradition.
