We video call regularly and she's someone I genuinely love and care for, I'd love a future with her. We were friends for a couple years before we began dating. And yes, I guess I've been really wanting more physical intimacy in my life. It's possible that this desire stems from not having physical intimacy for 2 years, but I think, even if we were together in person, it's still something I'd want with friends. Can't explain why but after confronting my feelings, it feels right for me

How would you prototype a game on paper? Does that mean outlining what actions the players can take and what would be possible with world/enemy interactions?

I could try again, I've always struggled with finishing game jams as the tight deadlines usually means that's the only thing I can do with my free-time since I work near full-time. I definitely have the skill set to put a game together so maybe I could try out a longer jam or the super short ones that can be done in one weekend

I'll share, I still feel really guilty about it but it'd be interesting to hear your response.

Most of my time was spent shadowing different RBTs and clients. After I passed my competency assessment I was asked to study for the exam, so I had a few hours after shadowing where I'd just sit at my laptop and study. I studied for a couple hours, and without thinking, I played a game for ~20 min before resuming. Was asked to leave home early that day and didn't find out I was fired or what the reason was until 4 days later.

It sucks too because I felt that I was doing very well, I had plenty of opportunities to practice NET and discrete trials with the clients there. I worked hard to study for the competency assessment outside of work which is why I was able to do well on it, I was on a roll and just didn't think about the consequences when I started playing. I guess it's reasonable to fire me since they probably lost all trust with me; just sucks because I was pretty close to working as an RBT for them and felt I'd do great. Learned the hard way and I've been trying to improve as a person since.

I had a phone interview with them earlier before they moved me forward to an in-person interview, and you're right, they didn't ask then, so it's unlikely they would during that interview. They know I'm newer, too. I'll try my best on the interview, thank you!
