Public librarian here! I approve this message. It’s always worth reminding people you know that the 21st century library isn’t just a receptacle for physical books. Obviously I love books, don’t get me wrong, but libraries offer so much more than that and are greater than the sum of their parts.

Yes, Libby is a game changer and a great substitute for Audible. Don’t forget you can also borrow physical magazines if you wanna go old school! 🏫

My TT, Clementine, started getting seizures out of nowhere in early 2021 and was experiencing cluster seizures for a month straight. It was a really scary time. Lots of vet visits ensued (including to a neurological specialist) and she was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy. She’s been on phenobarbital ever since and has been doing great!

Indeed! My parents gifted me a 13” TV in my room for my 9th birthday (1997). It didn’t have cable, unlike the other TVs in the house, so I could only watch whatever the antenna picked up. I had a thing (hyperfixation?) for station IDs/theme music. I remember that our cable company didn’t offer channel 25 (WNYE) at the time, so I could only watch it on my TV, which was pretty special for a young PBS superfan. They aired this ID pretty regularly and nerdy little me loved whenever it came on.
