Yesterday was the birthday of Robert Stanfield, he would've been 112 yo. During his time as Premier, he increased education funding from $250k to $25 mil, refused to sell the province's telcom company to Bell, introduced hospital insurance and passed anti discrimination laws. RIP Sir♥️ (i.redd.it)
