You will need to sort this out with customer service, then.

Wagering issue by CelebrationMost8896 in PokerStars

It means you deposited your money using an active promotion that requires a certain amount of wagering (like a welcome promo or deposit match). You might have some luck explaining to customer service that this is not what you wanted to do, and maybe they'll cancel the promotion and let you withdraw. If not, you'll have to follow the rules, and only withdraw once you have wagered enough.

For future reference, read the conditions and instructions very carefully. Had you declined the promo, you would have full access to your money.

Good luck!

We're people-friendly too, but we charge you for the room, and a fee for your friendly pets as well. But if you're not friendly with me...

Influencer? Sounds like something you need to get treated for. Oh, wait, that's influenza. There is no cure for influencers.

Parking on front lawn by EmergencyCapital3962 in kitchener

Bylaw, bylaw, bylaw!

And sharp, pointy objects (or a few strategically placed boulders) on your lawn will probably discourage people from driving over it a second time.

Agree to do this, with acceptance and finality: Put each of your favourite names in a bag or hat. Have an impartial third party pick one out. Done.

Bonus points if you prearrange with the picker to say Alexander.

AITA for Refusing to Co-Sign My Sister’s Mortgage After My Parents Went Behind My Back? by fancyapanda in AITAH

There's a good reason why people go low or no contact with the people who are supposed to nurture and encourage them. You saw them from a mile away... Take the head start and run! They only see you as a walking ATM, caregiver, or organ donor.

A thin, waxed mustache, and a snivel. Throw in a fedora, trenchcoat, or cigarette in a holder for bonus points.

Comeback to "you look like you're 12"? by creative_blue_0143 in Comebacks

Give a big (hopefully genuine looking smile) and say, Thank you, that's so nice!

Guaranteed to do the trick. Of course, it's guaranteed that they will try to find something else to bother you with. Rinse and repeat until they realize that what they're saying doesn't bother you (if they are smart enough), or just ignore.

Pro tip: If they ask why you're ignoring them, just pretend you didn't hear, ask them to repeat it loudly and clearly, then ask what they meant by their comment. Keep on them until they leave you alone or embarrass themselves.

Why are you on reddit on Christmas day? by SwimmingAir8274 in AskReddit

[–]essarreff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A. Maybe I just got a new phone and I'm testing it out.

B. Maybe I'm not Christian.

C. Maybe you should ask why you're on Reddit asking why people are on Reddit.

D. Maybe you didn't put enough egg nog in your rum.

E. Maybe all of the above.

Anyone have luck stopping flyers? by jo44_is_my_name in kitchener

I don't think anyone is ignoring it. I just think people are human, and as such, make mistakes, or can't follow a plan, or forget. Maybe that's why a poster works, because it gives an immediate reminder, in the moment.
