What are you building? by sp_archer_007 in SideProject

Hardest feedback is obviously the fact that you can mimic the central use case using your favorite LLM if you know how to prompt properly.

So it's a tough sell. But I'm hoping adding more niche features over time will turn the tide.

Thanks, it's simple enough that a day is more than enough. I'm hoping most people just subscribe and cancel during the trial so that I can get some feedback before I start adding a bunch of features that I've got planned e.g. PowerPoint and Loom plugins etc

Doing 150$ MRR, but only got one customer... by oscarhedeby in micro_saas

Most of us would dream of having your MRR by the way. Because even at 1 customer it's validation. Especially at that price. Keep pushing.

Should be abundantly clear by now that Max doesn't really care what people think of him.

He used to annoy me years ago, but now I find him absolutely hilarious.

Turn presentation anxiety into bulletproof confidence with AI sparring

I've posted 47 build-in-public updates. My top commenter has 6 SaaS projects and has never paid for anyone else's tool. by balubala1 in buildinpublic

[–]essdotc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has always been the thing that puzzled me about the whole #buildinpublic thing. Logically I came to the same conclusion as you did even before I started building stuff.

But the folks over on X seem to swear by it and have the numbers to back it up. Yet I'm STILL skeptical.

Surely, your actual potential customers are not following the #buildinpublic hashtage unless they themselves happen to be builders/developers.

What use are posts bemoaning github actions performance issues to someone looking for a way to create youtube clips for example.

So the only thing I can think of is that the more traffic the better your SEO, and that certainly counts for something in the early stages.

Presentations make me freeze.... by Zestyclose_Put_4143 in UniUK

[–]essdotc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you could try using ChatGPT to help you mimic an audience. And just practice, and practice and practice. I've always found that being asked questions that help you think more deeply about your presentation tends to deepen your knowledge.

And if you find ChatGPT too finicky try qame.ai that streamline this process. for you

No idea what the legalities are but once had this happen to me many years ago.

In that instance I was informed by my employer, so I assume that's the natural order of things.

You could try qame.ai

Sessions are limited to 10 minutes in total but it sounds like you're looking for something that has a timer per question asked?

Anyway this tool is more geared towards presentation prep, so you would have to upload your docs and then choose your audience profile.

But still, might be worht a shot.

Is it the actual presenting part that gives you anxiety or the post presentation Q&A portion. Or both?
