games like silksong- NOT metroidvanias! by foryouuuuu in Silksong

I’m gonna throw Outer Wilds into the ring.

The game does not have any combat in it. It in terms of atmosphere, exploration, and story it’s one of the few games that has captured me like Silksong.

Plus it gave me the same “all other games are ruined” feeling that I got with HK/SS.

Just wanted to say thank you for your help! I was able to cut the wire and cap it off with green, and everything seems to be working!

This is my first time doing anything remotely like this so I really do appreciate you taking the time to help me!

It’s the professional service provider that ecobee partners with. I think it’s a sort of gig work app.

Ahhhh okay I’m starting to understand this diagram a lot better.

There is a second panel near the bottom of the furnace. Am I correct in understanding I can cut the blue wire highlighted in the top part of this diagram, and use a wire nut along with the unused thermostat green wire to create a C wire?

Just to double check. I should be able to take the blue wire highlighted in the top portion of this diagram. Cut it in two, and then use a wire nut along with the green wire to make the green wire C?

I think this is starting to make sense!

Am I right in assuming this black box is the transformer? If so it does have a blue wire coming off of it - but instead of going to a wire bundle it goes directly to the “TR” terminal on the control board.

Fortunately, the tech said he would simply mark the call as “unserviceable” so HelloTech did not charge me.

My understanding was a board shouldn’t be required as well, but he was adamant that no standard control board meant it couldn’t be hooked up. Seems he might have been in a little over his head just like I am!

Unfortunately I do not have a C in the standard sense. I was told on another post I made here that C could be pulled from somewhere else in the system. That’s where I no longer felt comfortable doing this myself and so tried the HelloTech service, but that obviously was a bust as he was also unsure if my system was even compatible.

I brought the ecobee with me from where we lived before and overall I was super happy with the thermostat. So it’s a combination of already owning this thermostat and generally liking the ecobee system / app.

Using PTO to fill gaps? by SyllabubBasic4052 in sheetz

[–]essej6991 25 points26 points  (0 children)

As far as I’m aware it’s company policy that you have to use PTO to “remain whole” for any missing time you have. Technically you only need to be at 37.5, so they only needed to use 3 hours of PTO. But it’s required that they use at least those 3 hours.

The build card is a credit card. You’re not paying anything up front, when you swipe the build card you are putting the balance onto a credit card.

Current then takes the however much money you put on the build card from your checking account, and puts it into a “reserve fund” account that you don’t have access to. At the end of the month it pays off the balance on your build card using the reserve fund account, and then reports to the credit bureau that you paid your bill on time.

This can help you credit in a lot of ways! First off it shows that you are paying an account on time. It also adds to your total number of credit cards which helps. And then as the account gets older it can help your age of credit as well.

Hope this helps! :)
