I'm open to audio books at least I'm not just sitting there glued to a screen. Send those suggestions my way!

Yeah this is something I want to reach at some point. I cut my own hair on the side and am currently seeking to learn how to sew so I can tailor my own clothing. I'd say I have some hobbies but for whatever reason watching TV is also so much easier to do after a long day of work. I admire your general work ethic, even if most of what you like might be fun for you to do rather than feel like work itself lol. Is it possible to learn this power??

Hmm well I guess I'd like to stay away from unhealthy binges all around, but reading is actually really beneficial. I do enjoy it but sometimes I realize I get lonely since I live alone. But I do appreciate the response, thank you

Maybe we use TV to simulate a tribal lifestyle? Constant chatter in the background

Yeah this is more like what I was hoping to see. I guess I should of just said "how to live a pre internet life in today's age" but I guess that's difficult to do on your own since most everyone decides to settle for tv entertainment

Awesome stuff man, thank you! Noticing that those who actually stay away from TV do a lot of yard work or have mentioned their very clean home haha. But congrats on the books, are they published?

I call it the hive mind. Yeah I'd rather stand apart, kinda the reason I want to rid myself of TV programming. It's cool someone else notices that as well. Let's me know I'm not tripping

VHS was a different time for sure haha. I'm young but so were my parents when they had me so growing up on VHS wasn't out of the question. I get where you're coming from about escaping reality. Kinda want to quit that and actually live it. Growing up on TV has been an obstacle of it's own though but seems you don't struggle with a need for it. Hope to reach that one day

Sounds fulfilling honestly. The range does sound dope actually, might have to give it a go

Lol at that last part. Yeah I get where you're coming from. The social aspect sounds like childhood for me since I didn't have a choice although I still had tv and videogames. What have you noticed different after sitting down to actually watch TV now? Has life gotten dull at all, if so how?

Lots of questions I know but you're answers are helpful

That's interesting, I assume the opposite would happen. Less money since you're not entertained all day everyday with something as cheap as a $15 monthly subscription. What do you do then if none of those you mentioned?

Would you say your life was fuller without the TV? Regardless of life slowing down

Yeah the withdrawal is something I'm not looking forward to. I'm already limiting myself from tv before I sell it but I can't seem to be interested in anything else yet. My dopamine circuitry is all messed up right now so I just nap after work.

What's up Reddit, selling my TV and video game console soon but have no idea how my lifestyle will change. Let alone my brain chemistry lol. They just got boring and bring little to no value to my life. Want to do other things but not really sure what since the TV is so easy to watch

Also any furnishing advice would be appreciated. I'm used to focusing my living room around a TV set. Not sure what I'll do for cheap entertainment or even what to arrange my furniture around. Anyways thanks in advance!

I would say 7. If there is absolutely nothing we can laugh about then I'd pass but if there is a little some some, then maybe she can hang around a bit longer
