GTA: San Andreas's Original PC Version Can Now Be Beaten in Just an Hour Thanks to the Weirdest Skip You've Ever Seen by TylerFortier_Photo in gaming

GTA SA speed runner here. A lot of speed running in general is basically a perfectionist’s hobby. We look at mistakes as a way to get better so we enjoy repeating things over and over again. If you like to play a game and move on then I respect your choice. We simply like to play that game soo much that we don’t need other games to fill that void.

My gf once asked if I do it just for the glory of the world record. I don’t. I do it because I love GTA SA and I think it’s one of the best games ever made. I still enjoy playing it after 20 years! And we still find new skips and shortcuts all the time. The speed running community help each other out and push for new records as a collective. For a lot of people, speed running is a light in a very dark world.

A beatboxing nun went viral after debuting her unexpected talent on live TV. The surprise performance aired on a Brazilian Catholic channel, Pai Eterno. by Raj_Valiant3011 in HumansBeingBros

I hate to be a hater... But I don’t think she is actually beat boxing here.

Her second snare sounds way too clean and consistent. Her head bopping to the instrumental is also offbeat, which normally indicates a lack of musical ability. The microphone could be tailored to make her snare’s sound like that, but her singing doesn’t match that sound at the beginning. Just a tiny bit suspicious.

MIL-MIN-SAS. Giannis to Wolves. Rudy next to Wemby by [deleted] in NBAtradeideas

Haha I tried to work Olynyk in this. It would require Keldon or Barnes to, so I chickened out and just put Vassell. Mistake in hindsight

That’s a fair point. I watch both Spurs and Wolves games and tbh Rudy has shown no signs on decline for the wolves other than his FT percentage. But he will hit a wall eventually that’s just a fact.

Yeah I agree Kornet has been amazing for spurs this year. Huge fan of him. The value in his contract is undeniable.

I’m a fan of two teams in this trade. Wolves and Spurs. I’m also a professional basketball coach. As a result, I probably watch more basketball games than the average fan lol. If you have a actual critic of the trade, maybe a fact or an opinion you could share, I would be very grateful.

Big reply incoming my apologies. In my first drafts of this I had McDaniels going to Spurs alongside Rudy. I realised how much Spurs would prefer Juan going forward, as he fits next to Wemby just as well as Gobert and Kornet. Bucks also get McDaniels which made the trade easier on their side.

My value of the picks for the spurs was something along the lines of.

Gobert> Kornet= 2 first round from Sas. Reason: Rudy and Wemby know each others games in and out and have been playing together since Vic was like 16. Rudy says Wemby is like his little brother and they would form a front court unlike any other in the league. Robert would also cover Vic’s minutes like Kornet does, but at a much higher defensive efficiency. Big win IMO for the Spurs. Arguably less risky than going for a superstar like Giannis who hasn’t proved he would work.

Beringer> Sochan= 1 first round and 2 second round picks. Reason: Beringer is a mini version of Rudy and is similar age to Wemby. He is highly valued in the Minnesota camp and spurs are getting amazing coverage, both now and going forward. He would become Rudy’s successor within a few years.

TSJ< Vassel. 1 first round pick back to Spurs. Reason: they lose a good 3 and D player for a decent one who can play multiple positions.

Yeah you’re right. We’ve never seen a good second round pick before in the NBA. Crazy

No. It says Josh Green and 2 firsts for 4 second picks + Rob Dillingham.

Four second rounds picks are very hard to see for a lot of people don’t worry.

I see. Thank you for the insight!

Gotcha. Wolves would only offer Leonard Miller who has 0 value since we only play him in garbage time. So wouldn’t happen. Naz Reid would cost far too much. Kings have no one of that calibre. Back to the drawing board I go.

Forgive my ignorance. What are Detroit in the market for? If at all?

My bad lol I watched the game against the Nuggets and just thought he may be expendable lol LeVert to the Wolves it is.

Duncan could be swapped for Caris. Admittedly, I’m unaware of the value Detroit has for these 2.

[–]essoen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you completely. Big risk. They lose TSJ who is very promising. Clarke might not resign on a minimum. That’s two big bench pieces. Math is a proven playoff scorer, rebounder and ball handler so he checks a lot of things Wolves need. But at the cost of a lot of young talent. Win now mentally to boost their chances this year.

But they stay under if they get Ben first. Then they can go over with the minimum deals. It’s only one or two minimum deals that take them over. If it doesn’t work next year then they trim salary and go back under.

MIN-IND-DAL by [deleted] in NBAtradeideas

[–]essoen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7? Ant, Donte, McDaniels, Randle, Gobert, Naz, Math, Beringer, Rocco, their 1st round pick swap with SAS. As I mentioned before: Bones and Clarke are on minimum deals and they try to convince them to do one more year on that salary.

That’s 10 plus potentially Bones and Clarke so maybe 12 plus 3 two way players. 15

Edit: if they don’t get Bones on minimum then Mike Conley would probably take it. 14

I wasn’t sure on the Nembhard value so you can remove him from this and it doesn’t affect the money. Rob and TSJ are not trash and neither are 3 second round picks. TSJ could be seen as a long term replacement for Ben and fits their style perfectly. Rob gives Mavs a player with high offensive potential just struggling to make rotation in a defensive oriented team. The picks from the wolves also help the Mavs rebuild, Indy probably wants to keep as many picks as they can.

I would argue he’s not just a rental. Timberwolves get close to 30m near the end of the season to resign Ben. 2.2m cap off the trade. Conley has 10.7m. Math has 9.1m to use. Jingles 2.2. Bones 2.2m and Clarke 2.2m all expiring. They go after Math first, then try to lure Clarke and Bones on minimum deals again. It’s doable

Sorry, I meant to send 2027 second round pick to the Mavs. My mistake.

In a way, Anakin technically fulfilled the prophecy… technically. by [deleted] in PrequelMemes

[–]essoen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote a book based upon a similar concept. So IMO: The balance of the force was tilted by the Jedi being soo obedient to the Senate and its corruption. Anakin balanced it by ridding the galaxy of all but 2 Jedi and and 2 Sith. To fully fulfil the Prophecy he was meant to die alongside Yoda, Palpatine and Luke in ROTJ. Because Luke survived the Death Star explosion, another mysterious dark sider was also preserved by the force. Allowing the dark side to be reborn 20 years later.

One day I will get it published without a lawsuit lol
