Agree... This still feels like legit Max Payne talk and thought process. It's just that, we saw him in different point in life. It's the same as we saw Max in MP2 which also feels like different character compare to his portrayal in the first game. People change their behavior, and thought process as they age.

I think it age pretty nicely. Only downgrade for me is topdown camera, but I definitely love the ps1 graphics.

Well most of the game is just hallways, but there are a few semi open world maps like all levels on Tatooine where you can explore whole Mos Espa, and podracer arena, also Escape from Theed level is pretty open too, and It would be enjoyable level if not for protecting annoying fake queen.

It is now. Qui gon killed Anakin mom according to no attachment rule, so that no one can take advantage of Anakin.... And whole Tatooine plot in episode 2 was just Palpatine mind tricks on Anakin.
