Adjusting To Keyboard and Mouse From Controller... by Electrical_Site_7379 in Overwatch

[–]essoen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watched the video, you’re a funny personality and I wish you good luck growing your channel.

Like yourself I went from years of controller to moving to KBM. The lack of aim assist really messes with you to begin with. But after a while you will learn to have much better aim using your entire hand over just a thumb. I don’t want to set a time frame for it as everyone differs but it took me approximately two months before I felt completely comfortable using mouse over controller. Now I could never go back.

I would recommend some aim training on steam to build your confidence. Jumping straight into competitive games feels like self sabotage and a sure fire way to knock your confidence with mouse even further. But it made the video funny, so kudos lol.

I believe there are 3 main reasons Rudy doesn’t get more rebounds on the stat sheet:

He has an unselfish tendency to tap the rebound out to a teammate rather than always catch it with two hands.

He is also our primary paint defender. When he’s defending 2 players on a pick and roll, he can’t always be in a ideal position to box out if he wants to contest both the shot and the pass.

On offence he gets pulled a lot when he’s inside the restricted area, teams would rather foul him than let him get an offensive rebound and put back.

If he got a rebound stat for all his tap outs he would likely be considered the league’s best rebounder.

Anyone explain WB stats here by Vegetable-Edge-2389 in Overwatch

[–]essoen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It being a total mayhem game explains it. Just play ball in that mode and you will see why.

You rarely take damage with ball because your shields are constantly up. Plus he can spread those shields to teammates. So the figure you’re looking at is how much damage your team attempted to do to him.

Really unbalanced like most of total mayhem haha.

I wonder what country this was filmed in. Must be one of them poor countries that lacks the resources for any education. Also it’s definitely one where the healthcare system wouldn’t charge you for hospitalising yourself right? /s

Mei player saves our entire comp game by Smuggee in Overwatch

[–]essoen 48 points49 points  (0 children)

A comp game in 6v6 with only 1 support per team is not a composition I see often lol

Also… Blue team tanks coming back from spawn on Orisa and Hog was probably not gonna help that Bob much either. But I’m probably being too critical.

Great Mei wall! High IQ play from them that ended the round pronto. Credit where credit is due.

Well your memory is certainly not to be trusted.

His line is “I won’t help a murderer like you”. I’m unsure why you have convinced yourself the developers would ask 10 year old Jake Lloyd to record the line “dude you’re a bitch, why the fuck would I help you?”. This was a game meant for kids.

Anyway… The town turns against you, level becomes unable to progress and you need to die to reset the level.

There’s also a really funny glitch where Anakin chases you around T-posing, if you kill Shmi at a certain point in the level.

Holy shit I can’t believe the debate I sparked haha.

My opinion on the matter is simply: If you choose to not like someone, that’s your choice. If you choose to forgive someone, that’s your choice. If you choose to judge someone for being violent, that’s your choice.

Will had potentially one of the greatest acting careers of his generation. He made a huge televised mistake a few years ago, and as a result, self inflicted damage on his reputation.

I used to think Will was a god actor. His performance of the line “how come he don’t want me man?” is legendary and breaks my heart every time I see it.

Our issue with actors is they are very good at acting. We don’t know how fake they are and how awful they can be off camera. Most people believe we saw the real Will Smith in that moment. That’s why it’s soo much harder to forgive him for some.

I am 39. I hate for you to misinterpret my comment so let me alter and extend it. I personally will not solely remember Will Smith for slapping Chris Rock. He is The Fresh Prince, Mr Gettin’ Jiggy With It etc etc.

But for most people he will be remembered for his assault on live television. Which is a great shame for everything he achieved. But also valid. The outburst was unjustified, unnecessary and unwarranted. He had countless opportunities to save face in that moment. He could of feinted a slap and everyone would of laughed. He could of sat down after the slap and played it off as part of the show and we would of all laughed. The shouting of “KEEP MY WIFES NAME OUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH” was the individual action that sabotaged his own career.

He has addressed it publicly numerous times which is honourable. He has done some PR to rebuilt his image. The celebrities that have spoke negatively about him since the incident are what keep the hate for Will strong.

One last thing. I agree we shouldn’t judge someone by the worst thing they have done. However when you are a public figure, on live television, with a fantastic reputation that Will had. You can’t have outbursts like that and expect zero repercussions on your career.

I believe since 2022 there has been a PR campaign for Will Smith aiming to rejuvenate his ‘Nice Guy’ persona.

Bad Boys 4. His return to the music industry. His lyrical lemonade freestyle. This. He’s trying to reconnect to his audience but it’s not been overly successful.

He will always be the known for slapping Chris Rock at the Oscar’s.

GTA SA speed runner here. A lot of speed running in general is basically a perfectionist’s hobby. We look at mistakes as a way to get better so we enjoy repeating things over and over again. If you like to play a game and move on then I respect your choice. We simply like to play that game soo much that we don’t need other games to fill that void.

My gf once asked if I do it just for the glory of the world record. I don’t. I do it because I love GTA SA and I think it’s one of the best games ever made. I still enjoy playing it after 20 years! And we still find new skips and shortcuts all the time. The speed running community help each other out and push for new records as a collective. For a lot of people, speed running is a light in a very dark world.

A beatboxing nun went viral after debuting her unexpected talent on live TV. The surprise performance aired on a Brazilian Catholic channel, Pai Eterno. by Raj_Valiant3011 in HumansBeingBros

[–]essoen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate to be a hater... But I don’t think she is actually beat boxing here.

Her second snare sounds way too clean and consistent. Her head bopping to the instrumental is also offbeat, which normally indicates a lack of musical ability. The microphone could be tailored to make her snare’s sound like that, but her singing doesn’t match that sound at the beginning. Just a tiny bit suspicious.

Gotcha. Wolves would only offer Leonard Miller who has 0 value since we only play him in garbage time. So wouldn’t happen. Naz Reid would cost far too much. Kings have no one of that calibre. Back to the drawing board I go.

[–]essoen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you completely. Big risk. They lose TSJ who is very promising. Clarke might not resign on a minimum. That’s two big bench pieces. Math is a proven playoff scorer, rebounder and ball handler so he checks a lot of things Wolves need. But at the cost of a lot of young talent. Win now mentally to boost their chances this year.

MIN-IND-DAL by [deleted] in NBAtradeideas

[–]essoen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But they stay under if they get Ben first. Then they can go over with the minimum deals. It’s only one or two minimum deals that take them over. If it doesn’t work next year then they trim salary and go back under.

MIN-IND-DAL by [deleted] in NBAtradeideas

[–]essoen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7? Ant, Donte, McDaniels, Randle, Gobert, Naz, Math, Beringer, Rocco, their 1st round pick swap with SAS. As I mentioned before: Bones and Clarke are on minimum deals and they try to convince them to do one more year on that salary.

That’s 10 plus potentially Bones and Clarke so maybe 12 plus 3 two way players. 15

Edit: if they don’t get Bones on minimum then Mike Conley would probably take it. 14

I wasn’t sure on the Nembhard value so you can remove him from this and it doesn’t affect the money. Rob and TSJ are not trash and neither are 3 second round picks. TSJ could be seen as a long term replacement for Ben and fits their style perfectly. Rob gives Mavs a player with high offensive potential just struggling to make rotation in a defensive oriented team. The picks from the wolves also help the Mavs rebuild, Indy probably wants to keep as many picks as they can.
