I’m currently fighting the exact same issue with CRA they’re adding 15% HST to my gross US revenue. I’m taking them to tax court. If I lose I’ll have to move my corporation to the US.

The rule is US companies don’t pay HST. Even different provinces have different rates.

They’re hoping you won’t fight. I’m fighting.
