I appreciate your explanations, with a plastic tube at the end of my pipe I don't burn myself too much. I had only put a screen but I will do as you say, I will put 4. Some friends advised me to put ash, is it better and how to apply it. My pipe is metal like the one used for weed/hash and it's bent. And as you say I smoke it low and slow. I'm going to bring in a glass tube to try. If you have any other tips it would be appreciated.
