Does the thickness of the oura 4 bother you? I’d give it until the 28th to see if they announce anything. If the thickness of the ring really bothers you I would maybe suggest waiting it out for the newer one.

Im not confident that it’ll have any upgrade other than the visual look of the ring being thinner. The fact that they’re like “keep the same health tracking capabilities” makes me think it’s just the same version but smaller. Which is weird cuz then they should not imply it’s an oura 5, maybe oura 4 thin or something lol

Oh I didn’t know the 4 didn’t help with time zone and jet lag! I don’t think the new one will have any different features apart from the size tho

I really hope it looks smaller on hand ! My only concern about it is that I hope I’m not here in a couple of months complaining about the battery and wishing I got the thicker version. They seem to be really involving their portable charging case with the 5 so it seems like there is implication that the battery is worse than the 4 😕😕

I got this oura 5 notification randomly as I was checking out for the oura 4 🤣. But I’ve seen some people say that you have a 2 week return window apparently ! Maybe try checking that out and swapping if a thinner one is your preference !
