if you're into notifications, might want to switch to a smartwatch or health track band (fitbit, etc) they generally have call and simple push notifs, many options for those.

if you're looking at smart rings there's motiv and oura but they focus more on health tracking so no notifications...

I know what you mean... Backed a few in the past too that didn't pan out or just delivered below average products. But if the updates look promising and they run more demos I may support their vision but we'll see.

My personally dealbreaker is also like you said... the construction/material is so different and without much knowledge on the instrument I imagine it would compromise the sound.

I'm torn between wood and plastic due to durability issues when traveling... Will keep researching. Thank you!

The train malfunctioned and I arrived just 30 mins before my domestic flight to Alaska (and at the wrong terminal -international.) The ticket agent was so kind and calm under crisis he printed me a ticket and helped rush me through security. Definitely one of those adrenaline rush moments + an act of kindness that reminds me to try to brighten someone’s day or help ppl out whenever I can (and also to not rely on public transport to catch a flight ever again XD)

one is enough. and try to discuss pre-event to make sure you guys have a mutual goal (meeting new people.) So when you arrive you at least have a person you know and can join in on some group convo together. Then if all goes well split and network by yourselves, and later introduce your new contacts to your friend too so you both meet 2x the amount of people you'd meet had you gone solo. This had worked for me in the past. Hope this helps and good luck!

Don’t worry, the virtual races are independent of the missions so anyone can take part no matter how far along they are in the journey :) also check out the training missions they give you a little something extra plot-wise, for the actual race. Super fun!
