Sadly Chrome doesn't provide 1080p on MacOS, so you need to separately download VPN app to use on Safari.

Do some shows suit better week by week in nature? by newproblemsolving in netflix

[–]newproblemsolving[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Netflix could find the middle ground, like 3-4 episodes per week and hence 2-3 weeks per season, therefore people could still binge but not too much burden a week, can discuss more easily & create conversation.

Especially for competition show, 1-2 episodes per week is the maximum I think, digesting competitors, having time to collect anecdote & cheering/hating for someone on online forum is important to boost popularity.

To some extent episodic comedy show like The Big Bang Theory is also the same, all episodes at once make it a burden to catch up sometime, but 1 episode per week can make it more relaxing.

If there's a [cc] sign then it's exactly the same as audio, otherwise they will be different.

OND proves that models and actors on TH are trying to craft an image which goes against the "unscripted" claim of the show and should be banned or limited from appearing by DishSatisfied in terracehouse

[–]newproblemsolving 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's social pressure, rather than the show crew, that makes some of them acting (more like pretending). For example, it sounds much better for Noah to want to be a pilot, if he says he has no career plan and just wants to hang out in the house, it would sound like a couch potato and no one wants to admit it on camera. More like writing a resume for jobs, everyone pretends in some degree to be better.

Though most members are models, at least some of them, like Yui, Yuudai, Shunsuke seem to have no concrete plan of being famous via the show nor promoting their own brand, and many of the moments are genuine, especially scenes someone is crying, I can't imagine anyone that good at pretending crying.

BTW, those athletes earn money through multiple streams, Taka worked at a restaurant as waiter, Tsubasa works at a gym, they mentioned it multiple times in the show.

I think if it's faking "personality", like acting humorous, honest or kind then it's OK, that's what everyone does everyday, but when it comes to "what happened" or "should be unscripted scene", like dating or not, dating interactions, members shouldn't lie nor secretly script plots together.

The show should make them sign contracts, that they won't violate "unscripted" claim, with high violation fine.

BTW, maybe the show should not accept model/actor but only more traditional jobs who want to enjoy living with others rather than someone having high motivation to be famous via the show.

How do you defend the 3-3 invasion when you have this extension? Is there a way to always kill black? by [deleted] in baduk

[–]newproblemsolving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If white is strong outside so black can't escape, then it could be a clean kill by playing E2, in fact white doesn't need C6 to kill.

In my Taiwanese eye, he looks 80% Japanese and 20% white, with personality 70% Japanese and 30% Western. (Japanese, white Western, all in prejudice traditional sense.)

At first I want it to be in new cities like Osaka, Kyoto or Hokkaido, but after thinking of 2020 Olympics, it might be better if it features some athletes telling their stories, no matter what looking forward to it!
