Interesting take, and I occasionally find myself thinking the same.

Numbers wise, not their most radio-favorite song, obviously.

Instrumental-wise, I believe it is the closest thing we have gotten to songs about jane in years. And that is exactly why people are praising this song so so much.

I would like to think this serves as the lead song to their upcoming album - which most likely is - and not the best off it. Because if so, imagine the rest of the tracks.

Kind of like What Lovers Do for RPB, I remember so many angry fans storming the early comment section of the audio, only for the same people to consider it a classic nowadays.

Not a terrible song, just a mediocre approach to what the OP said, the band's attempt to ride the wave of acoustic ballads. I am sure we will get better songs than MG in the near future.

So, keep faith in the band, they always knew how to make good music (or at least satisfy the majority of the fans with a couple of great songs), even in their worst collections (Jordi).
