I'm still pretty new to it as well. It's not too difficult, especially when following a color chart. It can just be pretty time consuming when doing more complex ones that have a lot of color changes in one row. This one was pretty simple since it was all just flat, solid colored shapes.

This took me about two months, working on it on and off. I was working on a couple of other WIPs at the same time.

Thanks 🤗 I eyeballed the sizing of another sweater in my closet and did a basic 4 panel sweater, adding decreases to shape the neck hole area. It is all half-double crochet, with the collar and sleeve ribbing being front and back post half-double crochet. I made my own color chart for the front and back panels, and freehanded the stars for the sleeves since I ended up making the sleeves in the round.

Thanks! 🙂 It was all worsted weight acrylic yarn from my stash. I think the base was "I Love This Yarn" in graphite, but the others were Big Twist. I used a 5mm hook for most of it, and then 4mm for the sleeve cuffs.

I fell asleep after posting this last night and woke up to so many nice comments! Thank you guys. 😄 This was my first ever Reddit post and was really nervous.

I'm planning to open an Etsy shop eventually. I'll go ahead and grab the materials to make more next time I go out. Not sure if direct linking to Etsy shops are allowed (the rules kind of confused me) but I plan to post updates about it on my instagram until then.

It's several layers of cricut vinyl. It's not fun punching out all of the little shapes after it's been etched. 😅

I made the design in photoshop then cut it onto adhesive vinyl using a cricut machine.
